The Deptford Mall is a major shopping destination in Deptford Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1,300,000 sq ft , making it the largest mall in the Gloucester County region, and placing it in the top eleven among the largest shopping malls in New Jersey. In late 2007, there has been speculation of adding additional retail space including an all new Neiman Marcus department store as well as additional space for retail stores. The expansion has not yet been finalized, but rather speculation has been surfacing the South Jersey Region. The expansion would create itself an upscale atmosphere containing many high-end stores and a few restaurants that still have to be mentioned. Kings Plaza is a shopping center that opened in 1970, within the Marine Park/Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, east of Flatbush Avenue. Originally hosting the now defunct Alexander's, as well as Macy*s department store chains, it began to operate a branch of Sears in 1997, and underwent extensive renovations in 2001. Later, Kings Plaza closed the Waldenbooks book store, Suncoast videos and Sam Goody music store. The Banana Republic store was closed and changed into a children's clothing store named Kidstown (which has also closed) and a Godiva chocolate store was added.
