Each year, approximately 2 million people visit the CN Tower to take in the breath-taking view and enjoy all the attractions it has to offer. The CN Tower was built in 1976 by Canadian National (CN) who wanted to demonstrate the strength of Canadian industry by building a tower taller than any other in the world. In 1995, the CN Tower became a public company and ownership of the Tower was transferred to Canada Lands (CLC) Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development.

Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The development was was conceived on the verge of the Great Depression, and Rockefeller financed the center personally, making it the largest private building project in modern history at the time.
The complex was designed by a team of architects and artists, who created a collection of buildings with a strong Art Deco aesthetic. O Teatro Municipal João Caetano foi reinaugurado em 1995, após uma profunda restauração. Ao longo de sua história, o teatro sofreu sucessivas obras de reformas que foram alterando a forma original do prédio, adaptando espaços e desfigurando seus seus núcleos históricos, dando origem a um prédio com características de diferentes épocas. No entanto, a fachada manteve as linhas arquitetônicas neoclássicas da reforma de 1888 e 1889.

São elas: o Centro Olímpico de BMX, o Centro Olímpico de Hóquei, o Estádio de Canoagem Slalom, a Pista de Mountain Bike e a Arena da Juventude. Após a competição, parte do palco das disputas por medalhas olímpicas se transformará na segunda maior área de lazer da cidade, batizado de Parque Radical. Nele, o estádio de canoagem volta a ser uma piscina pública e o Centro Olímpico de BMX será novamente aberto à população.

At the beginning of the 2009 Major League Baseball season the new Yankee Stadium opened its doors when the Yankees hosted a workout day in front of fans from the Bronx community. The first game at this brand new ballpark was a pre-season exhibition game against the Chicago Cubs, played on April 3, 2009, which the Yankees won 7-4. The new Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx, across the street from the original Yankee Stadium. It is built on a 24 acre area and has a price tag of $1.5 billion, which makes it not only the most expensive baseball stadium ever built but also the third-most expensive stadium of any kind.

A wife caught in the act, her lover fleeing the scene, a suit left behind. It’s the perfect recipe for a husband’s punishing, humiliating decree: go on with business as usual, he says to his spouse, but take your lover’s suit everywhere you go as a ghostly reminder of your betrayal. Using an innovative staging that integrates live musicians directly into the action, Brook makes Themba’s volatile work sing. A hummed “Strange Fruit,” African melodies, and Schubert lieder thicken the tense, poisoned air of this apartheid-era summer in which a shared wound was not allowed to heal.
Dating from its first performance in 1861, BAM has grown into a thriving urban arts center that brings international performing arts and film to Brooklyn. The first BAM facility at 176-194 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights was originally conceived by the Philharmonic Society of Brooklyn as a home for its concerts. It housed a large theater seating 2,200, a smaller concert hall, dressing and chorus rooms, and a vast "baronial" kitchen. BAM presented both amateur and professional music and theater productions. Performers included Ellen Terry, Edwin Booth, Tomas Salvini, and Fritz Kreisler.

At the core of Kaufman Astoria are seven column-free stages including a mammoth 26,000 square foot stage - the largest east of Hollywood. Our newest addition is Stage K with over 18, 000 square feet. In addition, there are two stages over 12,000 square feet each, and smaller stages of 8,000, 4,000 and 3,000 square feet. Fincada em seu topo, solitária e poeticamente contemplando a baía de Guanabara, a Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem se oferece aos olhos dos que a contemplam. Ocultas sob a vegetação, abaixo da Igreja, escondem-se as ruínas de uma fortificação que, no final do século XVII início do século XVIII, foi erguida com o nome de Forte da Barra, logo depois chamado Forte da Boa Viagem.

São animais vindos das mais diversas partes, vítimas de queimadas, caçadores, poluição e doenças, que graças à nossa fundação tem uma segunda chance de vida e liberdade garantida. Além de toda essa imensa importância para a preservação de nossa biodiversidade, a Fundação Zoonit é também um grande centro de pesquisa, cultura e lazer para a comunidade.
Localizada no coração do Fonseca, um dos bairros mais tradicionais de Niterói, a Fundação Zoonit se encontra numa área de aproximadamente 10.000m2 e dispõe de 14 funcionários que estão a serviço de nossos visitantes e, é claro de nossos queridos hóspedes, os mais de 480 animais, instalados no parque. Trata-se de uma entidade sem fins lucrativos, de utilidade pública Estadual e Municipal, registrada na Curadoria de Fundações do Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro.

Praia bastante familiar, com uma área específica para crianças, apelidade de Baixo Bebê. Atrai gente jovem e bonita, que costuma desfilar por seu calçadão, antecipando tendências da moda carioca. No fim da praia, junto à subida do Vidigal, encontra-se um mirante com uma vista deslumbrante da orla do Leblon e Ipanema.
