KIDDIELAND has over 30 rides and attractions. Founded in 1929, it is Chicagoland's oldest amusement park and has the reputation of being one of the finest traditional parks in the country. Dinosaurs Alive - Step back in time to millions of years ago in our brand new Dinosaurs Alive! animatronic dinosaur park! More than 30 life-sized dinosaurs are on display, some up to 40 feet tall. Guests will visit thematic exhibits along a wooded path, following how they lived, what they ate, how they protected themselves, and how they adapted to their prehistoric world. An educational and exciting attraction that the whole family can enjoy together.

O Observatório Nacional foi criado oficialmente por D. Pedro I em 15 de outubro de 1827. Entre suas finalidades estava a orientação e estudos geográficos do território brasileiro e de ensino da navegação. Entretanto, segundo o Padre Serafim Leite, em 1730, os jesuítas instalaram um observatório no Morro do Castelo, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
O Observatório Nacional, atualmente, tem a missão de realizar pesquisa e desenvolvimento em Astronomia, Geofísica e Metrologia em Tempo e Freqüência, formar pesquisadores em seus cursos de pós-graduação, capacitar profissionais, coordenar projetos e atividades nacionais nestas áreas e gerar, manter e disseminar a Hora Legal Brasileira.

O Mirabilandia é hoje o terceiro maior parque de diversões do Brasil, contribuindo cada dia mais no desenvolvimento turístico do Estado de Pernambuco. O Paço Imperial é um Centro Cultural com rica programação artística, localizado na Praça XV de Novembro, no centro histórico da cidade, no prédio considerado o mais importante dos edifícios civis coloniais do Brasil. Foi primeiro a residência dos governadores da Capitania do Rio de Janeiro e depois passou a ser a casa de despachos, sucessivamente, do Vice-Rei do Brasil, do Rei de Portugal Dom João VI e dos imperadores do Brasil. Em sua restauração, na reconstituição da fachada, optou-se pela feição colonial, adquirida particularmente no período da ocupação pela Família Real Portuguesa, mas foram preservadas marcas e formas de vários outros momentos históricos. O Paço Imperial conta com uma diversificada programação de artes plásticas, cinema, teatro, música, biblioteca, atividades educativas, seminários, serviços de lojas e restaurantes. Percorrê-lo é fazer uma releitura do tempo inscrito em seus espaços, relacionando-os com épocas e fatos ocorridos. As exposições permanentes também são um ótimo programa cultural.

A pouco mais de 80 quilômetros do Rio, a pequena Sacra Família do Tinguá, no município de Engenheiro Paulo de Frontin, vive-se um clima de autêntica descontração, resultante das peripécias e traquinagens dos hóspedes do local; crianças alegres e felizes se divertindo a valer. A razão de tanto barulho se chama Kinderland (terra de criança em alemão), a mais tradicional colônia de férias fluminense.
A instituição iniciou suas atividades em 1952, com o trabalho de um grupo de senhoras judias que acolhia órfãos de guerra, entretanto, o lugar não se caracteriza como instituição religiosa.
A palavra de ordem é confraternização, valorizar ao máximo a convivência em grupo.
Os acampamentos livram as crianças do controle familiar e abrem um mundo novo para elas. O primeiro grito de independência. Longe dos olhares paternos, as crianças convivem com pessoas diferentes, tomam decisões sozinhas, aprendem a ser disciplinadas e crescem em todos os sentidos.
São 750 mil metros quadrados de área verde cercado de montanhas e belas paisagens comportando grupos de até 170 pessoas. A colônia oferece acomodações para dormir, refeitório, piscina, quadra de esporte, lago, gincanas, festas dançantes e peças de teatro. Durante o dia, o passeio ecológico é um dos momentos mais esperados. Acompanhados por um biólogo, a garotada sai à procura de animais de diferentes espécies pela mata. São três refeições e mais três lanches por dia para repor a energia,

Quando bate a saudade, alguns retornam para rever os amigos feitos naqueles gramados e lembrar as brincadeiras na piscina, o hasteamento da bandeira, o soar do gongo e das Kinderlíadas (olimpíadas da Kinderland).
Um lugar guardado nas boas lembranças

Localizado na ponta do Gragoatá, com ampla visão da entrada da Baía de Guanabara, o Forte do Gragoatá foi construído entre os séculos XVII e XVIII, com o nome de Forte de São Domingos, em homenagem ao patrono da capela construída em 1652, hoje matriz de São Domingos.

Very few people have had a full-grown black bear look in the window of their family car, or if they have, it was not by choice. Even fewer have seen a reindeer or a elk up close. However, many people are getting experiences like these at Bear Country U.S.A. in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

In November of 2004, racing champions Mario, Michael and John Andretti purchased what had been known as the Andretti Speed Lab in Roswell, Georgia.
The famed family made over $1 million in renovations that extensively improved the entertainment facility, provides an enhanced experience for all visitors, and permeates the Andretti touch and feel.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games opened to the public in March of 2005.

Each year, approximately 2 million people visit the CN Tower to take in the breath-taking view and enjoy all the attractions it has to offer. The CN Tower was built in 1976 by Canadian National (CN) who wanted to demonstrate the strength of Canadian industry by building a tower taller than any other in the world. In 1995, the CN Tower became a public company and ownership of the Tower was transferred to Canada Lands (CLC) Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development.

The Fuller Building or as it is better known, the Flatiron Building, is located in the borough of Manhattan, and was one of the tallest buildings in New York City upon its completion in 1902. The building was designed by Chicago's Daniel Burnham with John Wellborn Root in the Beaux-Arts style on a triangular island block at 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway, facing Madison Square.

Exposure Rock Climbing has the only USA Climbing nationally certified route setters in the state of Texas.
Why is it important to climb at a gym with Nationally Certified Route Setters? Because it's a gym that puts its climbers first, NOT the birthday parties or the church groups, but the climbers. Exposure is currently the only gym in the metroplex with a USA Climbing Nationally Certified Route Setter and has two of them (Kyle Clinkscales and Stan Borodyansky).
Exposure is located on Midway Road just north of Keller Springs Road near the Addison Airport.
