Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ Ministries and the marvelous story of what God is doing through this 19 story cross located on Interstate 40 at Groom, Texas. Construction of the cross frame was done in two shops in Pampa, Texas by more than 100 welders and erected in July of 1995. Truly, all things are possible for those who believe.

O Trem do Corcovado é uma linha férrea localizada na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. A linha começa em Cosme Velho e segue até o cume do Corcovado, a uma altitude de 710m. O cume é famoso pela estátua do Cristo Redentor e pela vistá aérea de várias praias do Rio de Janeiro.
A linha possui 3,8km de extensão e utiliza um sistema de tração elétrico. A linha foi inaugurada pelo imperador Dom Pedro II em 9 de Outubro de 1884. Inicialmente utilizava tração mecânica, sendo que o sistema de tração elétrico foi instalado em 1910, se tornando pioneiro no Brasil. Em 1980 a linha foi modernizada com a compra de trens da empresa SLM, sediada na cidade de Winterthur, Suíça.
A linha férrea do Corcovado é uma das poucas que ainda utilizam um sistema elétrico trifásico, possuindo, assim, dois cabos aéreos. A linha possui 4 trens, cada qual com dois vagões. O Parque Guinle é um parque público localizado numa área arborizada de cerca de 30 mil metros quadrados no entorno do Palácio Laranjeiras, residência do governador do Rio de Janeiro. O Parque foi no originalmente construído como jardins do palacete da família Guinle erguido na década de 20. A partir de 1940, o Parque Guinle passou a pertencer ao Governo Federal e foi objeto de um projeto de urbanização com a construção de um conjunto de edifícios residenciais projetados pelo arquiteto Lucio Costa, concebidos conforme os princípios propostos pelo arquiteto francês Le Corbusier, que serviram de ensaio para o padrão residencial das superquadras da capital do país, Brasília.

A Catedral de São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, ou como é mais conhecida Catedra Metropolitana, teve sua pedra fundamental abençoada e lançada por Dom Jaime de Barros Câmara, a 20 de janeiro de 1964. A Catedra. tem 75 metros de altura externa e 64 metros de latura interna, 106 metros de diâmetro externo e 96 metros interno, com capacidade para abrigar 20.00 pessoas em pé ou 5.000 sentadas. A exemplo de todas as igrejas católicas, também a Catedral do Rio de Janeiro tem como símbo máximo a Cruz.

”O Monumento aos Mortos da Segunda Grande Guerra Mundial, também conhecido como Monumento aos Pracinhas, localiza-se no Aterro do Flamengo, no centro da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. O monumento foi inaugurado em 1960 para abrigar os restos mortais dos soldados brasileiros mortos na Segunda Guerra que, até então, estavam depositados no cemitério de Pistóia, na Itália. Como pode ser visto neste vídeo, o conjunto é integrado por três obras de arte: uma escultura de metal homenageando a Força Aérea Brasileira. Outra de granito, homenageando os soldados das três armas e um painel de azulejo em homenagem aos mortos no mar. Detalhe: a plataforma que se eleva a 31 metros de altura empregou, pela primeira vez no Brasil, o concreto aparente.”
