Denise and Gabriel Werneck, a mother-and-son team, both born and raised in Rio, started Rio Hiking in 1999. They started by taking visitors on the family’s favourite hike, the Tijuca Peak, as well as visiting the historic district of Santa Teresa, where they had lived most of their lives.

"Climb in Rio offers professional guided climbs, information, and logistics support to climbers from all over the world who wish to climb Rio's best routes. We have been guiding climbers in Rio de Janeiro since 1990. During all these years, we have made more than 4000 climbs in the city and in the state.

A empresa, Rio by Jeep, começou a atuar no mercado no ano de 2000, com o objetivo de atender primeiramente aos hotéis da zona sul do Rio de Janeiro. Minha proposta é de fazer com que o turista tenha uma visão do Rio de Janeiro conhecendo três diferentes perspectivas da Cidade, contrastando o Parque Nacional Floresta da Tijuca (Corcovado, Paneiras e Cascatinha), as Praias (São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema, Arpoador, Copacabana, Leme, Botafogo, Flamengo e Glória), e o Centro Histórico da Cidade (Cinelândia, Lapa e Santa Tereza) ao longo de um tour de 4 horas e meia.

Os cursos básicos de fotografia da Trilharte, ministrados pela fotógrafa Monique Cabral, são sempre repletos de aulas práticas que levam seus alunos em pontos culturais e áreas verdes preservadas do Rio de Janeiro. Durante os passeios os alunos terão a oportunidade de visitar pontos pouco conhecidos da cidade até mesmo pelos cariocas, e é claro fotografar muito. Nosso curso visa ensinar fotografia de um modo descontraído, promover uma melhor qualidade de vida, integração social com o meio ambiente, saúde física e mental, além de incentivar o espírito de equipe entre nossos alunos. Then, head over to the young naturalist camping area, cook food on a "campfire", and explore using field guides for animals that one might see on a camping trip. Feeling the urge to feed some of the animals’ springtime is the perfect time to head over and feed the sea lions - they just love the attention too. Weekends are an ideal time to visit as you can chat live with the zookeepers and learn how they care for the animals. Maybe even find out what your favorite animal does when you're not there.
