Manhattan Language Courses are taught by carefully selected, university trained professional language instructors who are always native speakers of the language they teach. Our courses are designed to give students the language skills they need to communicate effectively at work and in daily life. We offer group courses at all levels of American English from beginning to advanced. Each student is given a placement test to determine their appropriate level.

Focused instruction in English language skills unfolds across a demanding 18-hour weekly schedule, tailored for learners ready to move beyond basics toward genuine fluency and precision. Students work toward mastery suitable for university coursework at any level or professional environments across the globe. The program runs weekdays with flexibility built into morning, afternoon, and evening time slots, making it possible to fit intensive study around existing commitments. Winter months bring a focused energy to the classroom community as students buckle down through the quieter season, creating an ideal window for concentrated language development without the distractions of warmer months.

Dedicated to promoting and sustaining Italian language education in the United States and supporting the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) program in Italian Language and Culture. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation qualified by the Internal Revenue Service to receive tax deductible contributions.

Services include instruction in all major European and Asian languages and upon request lesser-studied languages ranging from Albanian to Zulu. Teaching people for business, travel, social and cultural enrichment. Also specialize in ESL instruction both to people living in the United States and to students who travel to New York to learn the English language and American culture. In addition, we offer Cross-Cultural orientation programs and destination services for ex-patriates and people returning to the United States.

New York Language Center is certified as an English Language School by the New York State Education Department. It is also authorized by the U.S. Department of Immigration to enroll non-immigrant foreign students. New York Language Center is a member of NAFSA (Association of International Educators), TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), and new in 2008 we are now a member of ALTO (Association of Language Travel Organisations) and FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations).

Colina Italiana provides both on- and off-site programs in Italian language and culture. Italian language and culture enthusiasts are discovering that CI programs provide a special chance for an all-encompassing educational experience without having to travel outside of the city.</br> The cultural center is housed in a stately townhouse on 96th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue, is well-known for its salon-style Italian language instruction, which includes courses on wine and food. As you study the bella lingua and bella vita of Italy, you'll also be provided sparkling Prosecco or cappuccino, depending on the time of your lesson.

Second campus in Jackson Heights, Queens - a bustling center of the Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Hispanic populations in New York. This campus is 20 minutes from Manhattan and has easy subway and bus access.

Group classes are different than those at other language schools. Once started, classes are ongoing and continue to meet at the scheduled time and will advance as long as the minimum enrollment is maintained.
