A female owned and operated dance company that was founded in 1999. Producing some the largest and most spectacular exotic pole dancing stage show performances and events in New York City. Every show incorporates an exciting theme that is stimulating as well as innovative. A variety of shows and events that run weekly, monthly and annually from exotic pole dancing revues, cabaret, competitions and much more. Exotic Dance shows and events are held in theatre, night clubs and private venues. We have an impeccable reputation for our beautiful and professional performers that have come from different parts of the world such as Brazil, Paris, London and Japan bringing with them a unique flair and seductive style. We also provide dancers to nightclubs, private parties, private events, music videos and much more.

Capoeira Angola, an ancient martial art of African origin, is one of the many cultural weapons used to break the chains of enslavement in Brazil. Played close to the ground, Capoeira Angola combines fluid, dance-like movements with kicks, head butts, tripping sweeps and the appearance of playfulness or vulnerability. Music is played on traditional instruments to accompany the players, to teach the rhythmic heart of the art, and also to mask its power. In the eyes of the enslavers it appeared to be a joking and playful acrobatic dance, but eventually its power was realized and Capoeira was outlawed. Death was the penalty paid by those caught playing Capoeira during the slavery era. For almost 400 years Capoeira Angola was taught and practiced in secret, and only in the 1930's did this African martial art become legal to teach and practice.

Winter months bring a cozy energy to indoor venues, making it the perfect season to pick up fundamentals in Salsa, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, and Hustle before hitting the floor at upcoming events. The studios are large, modern, fully mirrored with sprung floors specifically designed for dance. It is here that our students are trained in the disciplines of Ballet, Broadway Theater Dance, Musical Theater and Tap. Registration is on all levels, beginner to professional, children (3 years old) to adults. There is live musical accompaniment for most classes. Our Summer Workshop is an outgrowth of this school. <br> The American Theater Dance began in 1982 as The American Dancemachine, a professional company and school, whose mission it was to reconstruct, perform and preserve the great dance numbers from Broadway shows. When founder/director Lee Theodore died in 1986, we became The American Theater Dance Workshop.

Founded by award winning Irish dancer Nicole Dimone T.C.R.G. At the young age of 6, Nicole was introduced to the world of Irish Dance by her grandmother, who instilled in her the love and appreciation for all things Irish. Nicole began her journey at the Inishfree School of Irish Dance, under the instruction of Neil and Sean Reagan. Nicole had the opportunity to attend several workshops given by Anthony Costello, a noted teacher and adjudicator from Limerick, Ireland. She then continued her dancing career at the Mulvihill Lynch School of Irish Dance.

BBT is a dance school dedicated to providing the highest quality dance education for girls and boys ages 2-19, as well as adults. Through the discipline and dedication dance requires, BBT molds and develops healthy, passionate, responsible, and well-rounded individuals who have the potential to succeed in any field. <br> BBT draws on the rich traditions of Russian ballet. In addition to teaching all students in classical ballet using the Russian Method, we teach them folk & character dance, modern and popular dance, ballroom and Latin dance, staging for the students original and contemporary choreography. Our instructors have graduated from the world's finest ballet schools & colleges and have performed with the most prestigious ballet companies throughout the world.

The School has the distinction of being the longest continuously operating school of dance in America and is a charter member of the accrediting organization, the National Association of Schools of Dance. Students come from around the world to study at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, the only school primarily focused upon teaching the Martha Graham Technique and Repertory. <br> Classes are taught by faculty members who worked with Martha Graham and who are or have been members of the Martha Graham Dance Company. The course structure culminates in the professional training of young dancers, who perform locally and nationally as Graham II. <br> Martha Graham students and dancers represent a broad range of cultures and backgrounds, and they take this unique American art form around the world to teach and perform.

Manhattan’s Largest Ballroom Dance Studio opened in April of 2009. It was our dream to provide students, teachers, social dancers and performance dancers with an elegant, functional space that could accommodate the growing need for teaching and training future ballroom dancers of every age.

The school at Peridance Center offers an open program of classes, a comprehensive Foreign Students Program, and a graded children's program named the PeriChild Program. The Center is also the home of Peridance Ensemble, the renowned contemporary dance company.<br> Peridance Center is located in a beautiful landmark building, one block south of Union Square in the Greenwich Village area of Manhattan. This location is currently being renovated to accommodate 6 large, professionally equipped studios featuring high ceilings, column free space, sprung floors, pianos and excellent sound systems. Founded by artistic director Diana Byer in 1978 as the official training school of New York Theatre Ballet. The School teaches dance as a total art form, developing strong technical skill and discipline…fluidity and ease of movement…and a strong sense of theater, style, musicality, and expression. It is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the great ballet mistress Margaret Craske. She was certified by Enrico Cecchetti and served as director of instruction at BSNY for many years until her retirement in 1987.
