Tour Colorado (formerly the Colorado Group Tour Association) is an organization, which originated from the Colorado Tourism Board (CTB) in 1988. Because Kansas residents often feel that people from Johnson County know nothing about the rest of the state, the trip is intended to help JCCC faculty and staff better understand the state in which they live or work. Tours of historic sites, meetings with community leaders, and targeted readings give participants a much greater understanding of what it means to be a Kansan.
