The mission of Strada Salon and Day Spa is to provide a location where support, compassion and understanding is available for those experiencing the traumatic effects of cancer treatment. We wish to do our small part in alleviating some of the collateral suffering a cancer patient undergoes. Strada is a profit making business which also will have a nonprofit component within the existing facilities. This will be the project for which we are requesting funding and donations.

Vindos de Paris, França, na década de 1950, o cabeleireiro Jacques e a esteticista Janine se conheceram durante um final de semana na cidade de Mogi das Cruzes, no interior de São Paulo. Com tanto em comum o resultado não poderia ser outro: em menos de três meses, Jacques e Janine casaram-se. Em 1958, construíram o primeiro salão de beleza Jacques Janine, situado nos fundos de uma vila na Rua Augusta, na capital paulista, onde, até hoje, se encontra a matriz da grife. As técnicas francesas trazidas pelo casal e conceito de “Beleza Completa” por ele desenvolvido logo chamaram a atenção de todos e, em pouco tempo, nasceram a segunda e terceira casas. Assim, a empresa iniciou seu ciclo de crescimento que contou com o apoio de familiares e profissionais formados nos próprios salões. T.Carlton's began as an idea of Thomas and Christine Carlton in 1992. Thomas was on the verge off quitting the industry all together. Passou a ter uma agenda super concorrida, clientes disputando horários, filas para cortar cabelo, enfim, seu trabalho era muito procurado, e Hugo se destacou no salão. Decidiu abrir seu primeiro negócio em sociedade com o cabeleireiro Paulo Alvarez, e logo depois o primeiro salão Hugo Beauty, na Av. Independência. O crescimento profissional foi tamanho que as clientes sentavam em uma escada, que existia no local, para serem atendidas. Em alguns anos o salão se mudou para a Av. Bordini, ampliando estrutura e conformo para atender melhor a clientela. Na seqüência mudou-se para a Av. Carlos Gomes, consolidando ainda mais a marca Hugo Beauty no mercado da beleza gaúcha. Em 2000, foi inaugurada a primeira filial, no Shopping Moinhos. Em 2002, Hugo Beauty acompanhou o movimento de suas clientes rumo ao litoral, abrindo instalações na praia de Xangri-Lá.
