"High Country Tours snowmobile trips accommodate individuals of all ages and experience levels. Our machines are for single or double riders and have a 400 lb. weight limit. They have hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items. Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system. We fly from the heart of the Hudson valley and are near New York City, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. We offer gift certificates, private rides, and accommodate group bookings. More than half our flights are gifts or celebrations such as anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions such as engagement flights. A great family outdoor adventure. Flights are scheduled in the mornings just after sunrise and in the evenings just prior to sunset, We are located only a short drive from NYC and if necessary we can meet you at the metro-north train station. Scheduling is done on a first come, first served basis and so we suggest you schedule early, especially if you have a very specific date in mind. A agência funcionou com o nome de MS TOUR, até início do ano de 2002. Tendo em vista que este nome coincidia com a sigla do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, a EMBRATUR nos exigiu a alteração de razão social, para que pudéssemos receber o certificado deste órgão e continuarmos na atividade.
Pensamos em vários nomes e consultando amigos chegamos então ao atual: Carandá Ecoturismo Agência de Viagens e Turismo Ltda e o nome de fantasia: Carandá Ecotour. O nome foi inspirado na palmeira Carandá, originária do Pantanal, suas folhas produzem uma fibra muito resistente, da qual se confecciona um chapéu de uso muito comum na região. "

Em 1987, época em que foi fundada a Equipe Desafio, o pára-quedismo esportivo em Minas Gerais encontrava-se bastante defasado em relação a outros estados brasileiros. Em todo o mundo o esporte deixou de chamar parachuting (pára-quedismo), e recebe o nome de skydiving (mergulho no céu), pois a alma do negócio passou a ser as manobras realizadas em queda-livre. As competições de destaque eram aquelas disputadas em queda livre, chamadas de Trabalho Relativo (hoje Formação em Queda Livre): as equipes formavam figuras no céu antes de abrir seus pára-quedas. Em Minas, no entanto, ainda se privilegiava o velho pára-quedismo nas competições de precisão, em que o atleta deveria pousar num alvo de 10 metros e acertar uma "mosca" no centro. Não havia equipe de Trabalho Relativo.
