Almost 40 years ago, Anthony D'Andrea and his wife, Joanne started a legacy, that continues to strive for taking the best ingredients and giving you the comfort of a home cooked meal.
The story continues to unfold to the next generation, a renovation that provides the same delicious classic favorites, the Clam Pizza, Chicken Parmigiana-w-Baked Rigatoni, Escarole-n-Beans,and our signature Meatballs. All of this coupled with a rustic atmosphere lends to providing you with a beautiful place to have your next family event. |

Fifty feet from Carnegie Hall and near Central Park South and all midtown hotels, The Redeye Grill derives its name from the infamous late-night flight linking America's two cultural hubs. The fusion of the two coasts is present both in this grand café's interior design and its menu. The centerpiece of the restaurant is the fabulous dancing shrimp, sushi and raw bar - bookended by two giant bronze dancing shrimp sculptures specially crafted in Italy.
Floor-to-ceiling columns are painted with New York scenes by New York and California artists, and a giant mural depicting Hollywood greats carousing in a saloon marks the beginning of the California Room. |

The name Becco is derived from the Italian verb beccare, which means to peck, nibble or savor something in a discriminating way.
Lidia Bastianich & her son, Joseph, opened Becco in the theater district in 1993. It is best known for its acclaimed $17.95 pre fix lunch menu & $22.95 pre fix dinner menu that includes a large assortment of Italian antipasti or a classic Caesar salad together with unlimited tableside servings of our 3 daily pasta preparations. Becco also offers an extensive a la carte menu including chicken, fish, veal, & pork entrees & a wide selection of Italian wines, all priced at $25.00 per bottle. |

Jean-Paul and Monique Picot took the bistro's name from the avant garde comedy La Bonne Soupe by the French playwright Félicien Marceau, which had a long successful run in Paris in the 1950's. The three-act play, starring Jeanne Moreau and Marie Bell, ends with the words "Et hop! Par ici, la bonne soupe!" here meaning: "step up (to the roulette tables), and put your money down, which will give you winnings and ensure you the good life." The play was such a success, it was followed in 1963 by a Twentieth Century Fox Film bearing the same title and based on Félicien Marceau's original 1958 play. Among top-ranking stars in the film were Annie Girardot, Jean-Claude Brialy, Claude Dauphin and Franchot Tone.
