The Career Center has offered training since 1988, first as a division of a computer consulting company and, since 1992, as a separate entity incorporated in New York State. Our growth has been rapid, taking advantage of the swiftly expanding need for everthing from basic computer job skills training to advanced certification.

Career Blazers Learning Center was established in 1980 by its parent company Career Blazers Staffing Services. The school’s mission was to provide individuals with the skills that were required in the workplace and to ensure that local corporations had access to talented personnel and career advancement training.

The Academy was founded in 1992 on a belief that a top qualify education in filmmaking should be accessible to anyone with the drive and ambition to make films. The Academy opened its doors in 1992 in Robert DeNiro‘s Tribeca Film Center. Since that time we have grown into our own facilities in Manhattan‘s Union Square and Soho. We also opened Film Academies at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and St. Catherine’s College Oxford University, England. We hold One-Year and short-term programs throughout the year in these locations. In 1991, Ralph was in Florence Italy having an extended lunch.
