Melissa Marotto has been dancing for over 20 years, beginning her dance training at The Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts. She earned her BFA in dance with a concentration in pedagogy from The Boston Conservatory, where she revived the historical work for Jose Limon with Jennifer Scanlon and worked with contemporary choreographers such as Donald Byrd and Sean Curran. With a strong background in ballet, Ms. Marotto has also studied Graham, Horton, Limon, and Simonson techniques with certified instructors from all over the country.

What if there was a school where not only you could learn to dance but you could learn about yourself, learn about others, meet new people and feel right at home? The faculty, headed by it's Director Mrs. Patricia Harry, decided to make that dream come true.

Beth Jucovy has performed extensively and given workshops and classes in Duncan, ballet, modern, and jazz techniques both in the US and throughout Europe and Israel. She choreographs for and directs Dance Visions, a professional company performing works of contemporary choreographers, as well as the works of major dance pioneers. Dance Visions has been the recipient of over fifteen NYSCA decentralization grants. The company performs throughout Long Island and the NY metropolitan area. Beth also danced for a decade with Andrew Jannetti and Dancers, performing frequently at many NYC venues. She was a soloist with the Downtown Ballet Company for six years, as well as with Ameridance International, a jazz dance company based in Munich, Germany. She is an Isadora Duncan dance specialist trained since childhood by Julia Levien. She had also worked intensively with Anna Sokolow. She has received critical acclaim in the major NY papers as well as abroad for her performances

He was born July 3,1950 in the same hospital as Tito Puente; raised by his Puerto Rican parents in Spanish Harlem, a.k.a. El Barrio, New York City. Torres's mother, a hospital worker; his father an inventive plumber, sparked Eddie's knack for inventing. No dancers or musicians in the gene pool to Eddie's best knowledge.

The history of Santo Rico dates back to 1995. The name of the dance company is derived from the initial members of the group being half from Santo Domingo (Santo) and half from Puerto Rico (Rico), hence the name "Santo Rico." Santo Rico was initially formed by Wilton Beltre, a Dominican native, who expressed his love for dance by displaying his street style of dancing Mambo/Salsa in local nightclubs in New York City. Prior to forming Santo Rico, Wilton received dancing instruction from the well renowned Eddie Torres. This gave him professionalism, grace and ultimately led to the development of a unique style. During his stint with Mr. Torres Wilton excelled and brought his dancing ability to such a high level that he became one of the most outstanding members of The Eddie Torres Dance Company.

Champion Irish dancer and former lead of Riverdance, Kathleen Ryan, has expanded Ryan Irish Dance Academy to five locations across Nassau County.
Miss Kathleen has been dancing for more than 25 years, launching her international career with Riverdance on Broadway in 2000 and touring widely across North America with the iconic Celtic company until April 2005.

A non-profit organization dedicated to extending the dream, dance legacy, and indomitable spirit of Isadora Duncan. The Foundation is based in New York City and supports the work of its resident performing troupe, Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company. The original center for dance, musical theatre and performance in Park Slope for both Children and Adults. In September we begin our 34th year of business in this community. “Gotta Dance” Studio opened its doors on September 15, 2001. Owner, Miss Terri as she is known by her students, starting dancing at the age of 5 and always dreamed, that one day, she would open her own studio. She continued taking dance classes and was also a member of a local community theatre group for many years. There she was able to learn and develop not only her love of dance, but also her love for music, singing and acting. The performing arts has always been a big part of Miss Terri's life.
Mr. Ron & Miss Terri decided the time had come for them to fulfill the life long “Dream” and together they started searching for the perfect place. Their hope was to find a small studio where students could come and learn to love dance & music while having fun in a friendly and safe environment.
