Foothills Mall is an indoor regional shopping mall located in Maryville, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville. Foothills Mall features approximately 70 stores and restaurants. Adjacent to the mall is the Foothills Plaza complex which includes several additional restaurants and a cineplex with 8 screens.
Opened in 1983, Foothills Mall is the only shopping mall in burgeoning suburban Blount County, part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The mall was originally anchored by Maryville based Proffitt's, a regional department store; Miller's, another regional department store that was a division of Allied Stores; JC Penney; and Sears. Proffitt's and Miller's no longer exist, and their store spaces are now used by Belk. Recently, the mall had added several additional stores, including TJ Maxx and Goody's Family Clothing. Source

The Mall at Steamtown opened with 65 retailers and 3 anchors: Boscov's, Montgomery Ward and The Globe. The Globe, an historic Scranton retailer, was connected to the mall via the bridge space. Unfortunately, the struggling anchor closed its doors in 1995. The building has since been redeveloped and is now known as Metro Tech Center, home of Diversified Information Technologies.

Jantzen Beach SuperCenter greets our northern neighbors with Oregon's tax-free shopping, located on Hayden Island adjacent to Interstate 5, at the Oregon/ Washington border.

Cumberland Mall is located in Vineland, NJ, on Route 47 (Delsea Drive) at Route 55 (Exit 27). Recently the NJDOT created a special ramp that channels traffic into the mall from Route 55 NB. Cumberland Mall is strategically positioned 25 miles (40 km) away from its nearest competitor, 45 miles (72 km) south of Philadelphia, PA and on route to the Southern New Jersey Shore Points. The mall almost went under, but was able to stay in business thanks to Vineland's 3.5% sales tax. Kings Plaza is a shopping center that opened in 1970, within the Marine Park/Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, east of Flatbush Avenue. Originally hosting the now defunct Alexander's, as well as Macy*s department store chains, it began to operate a branch of Sears in 1997, and underwent extensive renovations in 2001. Later, Kings Plaza closed the Waldenbooks book store, Suncoast videos and Sam Goody music store. The Banana Republic store was closed and changed into a children's clothing store named Kidstown (which has also closed) and a Godiva chocolate store was added. CVS also closed and was replaced by a furniture store. An Armani Exchange store was added to the mall, expected to open summer 2008. Source
