Holladay Tours began with a goal. Tom and Sharon Holladay wanted to share with others the travel experiences they had enjoyed in their personal travels. The Holladays recognized the merits of group travel. new adventures and new friends all at an affordable price! In 1990 they began to schedule group tours on a part time basis. It took some time to get the word out and the name circulated but they hung in there and didn’t give up. Each year business increased and in 1992 Holladay Tours was incorporated. A tour brochure was published twice yearly and continues to be mailed to a growing list of tour guests. In 1994 Tom made the decision to go into the group tour business on a full time basis. Sharon joined him in the business in 1996 as a tour planner and tour escort. Holladay Tours continues into its second decade with the original goal in mind to provide the customer with the ultimate travel experience.

From the French Quarter to the Garden District and channeling all the way out to Lake Pontchatrain through the Mid-City Cities of the Dead, the Central Cemetery district you will will delve deep into the swamps and bayous of our pre-historic existence and explore the haunted history of New Orleans with the expert historian Bloody Mary. Her famous Tour company of the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum—is the originator of all New Orleans Voodoo and ghost tours since 1971- though Mary has personally experienced this side of her hometown's history for nearly half a century. Bloody Mary’s tours meets in several different locations to specialize in the most unique presentations and serious portrayals of the spirit imbedded in the magic pulsing throughout New Orleans.

The Center has 12,000 square feet of exhibition area. Fossils and life forms from earliest geologic time periods are displayed in a chronological perspective. There are over 200 displays throughout the museum. The central hall houses dozens of full-size mounted skeletons, including over 20 dinosaurs.

Started in 1970 as a strident little weekly that editorialized on all its pages. It was purchased by Dick Morgan, Max Swearingen and Pat O'Connell in 1970. In its early years it was printed in a building one former editor described as a "cubicle" in Old Town Kenai next door to one of that area's bars. <br> The paper continued to grow, eventually moving to its present location on Trading Bay Drive and converting in 1978 from a weekly to a Monday through Friday publication. A major change ocurred in 1990 when the paper was sold to Georgia-based newspaper chain, Morris Communications. <br> In the years since then the paper has changed from tabloid format to broad sheet and in 1997 started publishing a Sunday edition. The Clarion started producing its web site edition in April 2000.
