In 1991, it was time to add on to the front of the building to complete what is now our service counter, waiting room, and show room. By 1993 AJ's had moved out and we took over expanding to 11 bays and 4 technicians. 1998 was another monumental year for us. One, we changed our name to Precision Automotive to better reflect what we do, and two, we added on once more creating room to work on motorhomes and two washbays. It was in 1978 when the doors first opened on Park Ave BMW, which derived its name from its location, Park Avenue, in Rutherford. After almost 4 great years there, an explosion and fire completely destroyed the building. Amazingly, no one was hurt. After that, Park Ave Acura operated out of a trailer for a few months until later that year, 1982, its BMW showroom moved to Passaic Street in Maywood. This building still houses Park Ave Acura's BMW Service & Parts Center. A beautiful new BMW showroom has since been built on Route 17 North.

Don't let anyone ever stop you from doing what you want to do." He loaned Kent some money to get by, and when Kent prepared a written promissory note, McCalmon scoffed. "You've given me your word," he told Kent. "I trust you."
