Connolly Station opened May 19, 2005, named after a train station in Dublin, and proximity to the Belmar Train Station. This combined two restaurants, Pat's Tavern and Patrick's Pub with one menu and theme. They feature a large menu with a wide variety such as; mouth watering steaks, fresh seafood, large salads, wraps, sandwiches, & Irish specialties like fresh corned beef & shephard's pie. The landmark tavern at Five Points in Mercerville was built in the mid-1700s. The exact date is not known, but it is rumored that George Washington and his troops passed by the tavern on their way to the “Battle of Princeton”.
