KIDDIELAND has over 30 rides and attractions. Founded in 1929, it is Chicagoland's oldest amusement park and has the reputation of being one of the finest traditional parks in the country. Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Ripley's Aquarium and Gatlinburg Mass Transit Center together represent a $70 million cooperative project between the city and the entertainment company. The 115,000 square foot, 1.3 million gallon Ripley's Aquarium is home to 10-foot sharks, 8,000 exotic fish, and the world's longest aquarium tunnel.

New York Aquarium - where the City meets the Sea. As the only aquarium in New York City and part of the largest network of metropolitan wildlife parks in the country, the New York Aquarium holds a special place in the mission of the Wildlife Conservation Society - To save wildlife and wild places around the globe.

A western heritage theme park that brings the old west back to life through portrayals of real-life western characters, legendary events and a frontier town re-creation. Featuring twenty-two (22) different live action shows throughout the course of the day, Wild West City offers the visitor the chance to “live” in the old west!
In addition to the shows, they offer a 24-gauge miniature train ride, stagecoach and pony rides. Guests can browse our shops and museums along Main Street, visit & talk with many knowledgeable townsfolk portraying early western life as historic figures or trades people, pan for gold, visit petting zoo or play miniature golf. The Chapel is quietly nestled beyond the town alongside our authentic 1880’s Schoolhouse.

A landmark beacon on the Hudson River, the Saugerties Lighthouse is a venerable red-brick lighthouse built in 1869 at the mouth of the Esopus Creek. The Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy maintains the lighthouse and adjacent lands for the enjoyment of the public.

The New York Botanical Gardens is a premier educational institution. Located just a brisk 25 minute bicycle ride from Sound View Park via Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Blvd, this NYC attraction is surprisingly bicycle accessible and encourages travel as such. The Gardens offers many educational programs including the opportunity to graduate with certificates in botany, floral design and horticulture, just to name a few. Ongoing hands-on gardening activities for the whole family are also available, so check their schedule online, or just give them a call. The Everett Children’s Adventure Garden is a year-round world of its own, boasting mazes, larger than life flowers, and many real time activities for your curious explorer. A prize bloom in the collection of Bronx attractions, it also actively participates in community outreach programs that expand nutritional education. Make sure you check out the Green Market, which carries a variety of produce available for purchase. Health-related screenings offered the 2nd Wednesday of every month by staff from both Montefiore Medical Center and St. Barnabas Hospital are another of the services that demonstrates their involvement in the surrounding communities. Their dedication to the conservation of the plants and fungi of the world through various scientific research associations places them on the world map.

Located across from City Hall in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. First established as a public square by the City’s founder Isaiah D. Hart around 1857, it is Jacksonville’s oldest park. Known first as City Park and then St. James Park, it was renamed Hemming Park in 1899 to honor Civil War veteran Charles C. Hemming, who donated the park’s Confederate monument (the City’s oldest and tallest) the previous year. At various times the park contained bandstands, fountains, comfort stations, and Tourist and Convention Bureau buildings, along with many beautiful trees. In 1978, the City converted the park into a brick-paved plaza, and completed additional work in 1986 that transformed the area into a single-level, pedestrian-oriented mall. Due to its centralized location, the plaza has long been a part of the downtown experiences for both tourists and local citizens.

Mississippi's #1 family attraction, Geyser Falls is a 23-acre water theme park located in Philadelphia MS. After entering the park, the excitement begins as you pass Geyser Flats with bubbling fountains, gurgling water pools and multiple spouting geysers. In 1884, a wealthy widow named Sarah L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it was to occupy the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until her death thirty-eight years later. The Victorian mansion, designed and built by the Winchester Rifle heiress, is filled with so many unexplained oddities, that it has come to be known as the Winchester Mystery House.

Want to cool off after playing hard all day? Valleyfair's Whitewater Country Waterpark is a great way to chill out and have fun! Included in Valleyfair's general admission, the waterpark's 3.5 acres offers hours of wet fun in the sun. The waterpark is open from May 28-August 21, weather permitting. The center span was the longest among suspension bridges until 1964 when the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge was erected between the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City. The Golden Gate Bridge also had the world's tallest suspension towers at the time of construction, and retained that record until more recently. In 1957, Michigan's Mackinac Bridge surpassed the Golden Gate Bridge's length to become the world's longest two tower suspension bridge in total length between anchorages. The longest center suspension span in the world and the longest two tower suspension bridge between anchorages is currently the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge in Japan. Source

Exposure Rock Climbing has the only USA Climbing nationally certified route setters in the state of Texas.
Why is it important to climb at a gym with Nationally Certified Route Setters? Because it's a gym that puts its climbers first, NOT the birthday parties or the church groups, but the climbers. Exposure is currently the only gym in the metroplex with a USA Climbing Nationally Certified Route Setter and has two of them (Kyle Clinkscales and Stan Borodyansky).
Exposure is located on Midway Road just north of Keller Springs Road near the Addison Airport.

It takes friends and guts to climb aboard Tremors, Silverwood’s signature 60-mile per hour wooden rollercoaster. After all, dropping over 100 feet and plunging through pitch-black underground tunnels of terror is not for the faint of heart. Tremors was named one of the Top 5 coasters in the nation by Teen People magazine.

The Space Needle is a major landmark of the Pacific Northwest and is the symbol of the U.S. city of Seattle, Washington. Located on the grounds of Seattle Center, it was built for the 1962 World's Fair, during which time nearly 20,000 people a day used the elevators — 2.3 million visitors in all for the World Fair. It is now privately owned. The Space Needle is a tower 184 m (605 feet) high and 42 m (138 feet) wide at its widest point and weighs 9,550 tons. It is built to withstand winds of up to 240 km/h (150 mph) and earthquakes up to 9.5 magnitude, and has 25 lightning rods on the roof to withstand lightning strikes. Source

Bonanzaville USA is named after the Bonanza Farms that dotted this region in the late nineteenth century as a result of Northern Pacific Railroad's marketing efforts. The NPRR lobbied for large-scale, showcase farms of 1,000 acres or more to advertise the economic potential of the land on either side of the Northern Pacific's route, in particular the land along the Minnesota, Dakota Territory border known as the Red River Valley. They believed these enormous farms would attract people to the Midwest and in return ensure financial support for the railroad. They were right.
The Cass County Historical Society was started in 1954 by the Daughters of the Dakota Pioneers in a basement room at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. Later the museum was moved to Minard Hall at NDSU and began to grow with the help of its volunteers.
