Classical Pilates by Jessica Wagner
"Pilates is an exercise that has been practiced in the US since the 1920's. It is named after it’s creator Joseph H. Pilates. The exercises are composed of many controlled, precise movements, designed to stretch and strengthen, creating long lean muscles without bulk. The exercises require concentration and deep controlled breaths for a complete mind body workout. The focus of the exercises is on the abdominal and back muscles (often called the “core” or “powerhouse” muscles) to build strength and agility in a balanced method. The exercises can be done on a floor mat or with Pilates apparatus based on the designs of Joseph Pilates."
