The Upcountry History Museum's mission is to promote, present and preserve the history of Upcountry South Carolina through education, research and service.

With bright colors and a building shaped like a castle, the Hands On Children's Museum opened it's doors in October 2000 , with generous community support. Funding is now provided by the Jacksonville community through admissions and sponsorships from individuals, small businesses and corporations. <br> By Summer 2008 the Hands On Children's Museum will have served over 275,000 visitors from all over. Including over 3500 school groups, with teachers from public and private schools in Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Clay and surrounding counties enjoying all the interactive hands-on exhibits.

The George Gershwin Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 222 West 51st Street in midtown-Manhattan.<br> Designed in an Art Nouveau style by set designer Ralph Alswang, it is situated on the lower levels of a towering office complex built on the side of the historical Capitol Theatre. It opened as the Uris Theatre on November 28, 1972 with the musical Via Galactica starring Raul Julia. It proved to be an inauspicious start for the venue, closing after only seven performances. From 1974-76 it served as a concert hall for limited engagements by a number of legendary pop music and jazz performers. <br> It was the first theatre constructed in New York City since 1928. Gabriel Sensei lived and trained in Japan from 1973-1978. While in Japan, he trained at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo under the direction of Kishomaru Ueshiba. Gabriel Sensei also studied privately with Masuda Shihan at this time. He has been a self-defense instructor to supreme court justices in Beirut, Lebanon. Gabriel Sensei is the founder of Aikikai in Lebanon with headquarters in Beirut as well as the official Aikikai representative for that region.
