Aqueduct Race Track, also known as Aqueduct Racetrack or simply Aqueduct, is a horse racing track located in Queens, New York. The track is part of the New York Racing Association (NYRA) and is open for live racing throughout the year. The track has three separate tracks: a main dirt track, an inner turf course and an outer turf course.
Aqueduct is home to several major horse racing events throughout the year, including the Wood Memorial Stakes, the Gotham Stakes, and the Cigar Mile Handicap. These events attract some of the top horses and jockeys in the sport and offer significant purse money to the winners. The track also hosts the New York Racing Festival, which features several graded stakes races.
The track was originally opened in 1894, and has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years. In 2011, Aqueduct opened the Resorts World Casino New York City, which is now the largest casino in New York City and the only one in the five boroughs of New York City. The casino offers electronic slot machines and table games, and has a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. Aqueduct Race Track is easily accessible by public transportation, with the A train subway line stopping at the Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue station, which is a short walk from the track. The track also has a large parking lot for those who choose to drive. |

Wildlife Safari is a fun-filled family destination where you can view over 500 animals in their natural habitat, roaming freely as they do in the wild! Visitors to the park drive through a 4.5 mile trek to see animals from Africa, Asia and the America’s. This unique setting offers many opportunities to get up close and personal with animals large and small.
Safari Village is home to unique animals, a petting zoo, beautiful gardens, the Casbah Gift Shop, Smokin' Hippo BBQ and White Rhino Event Center. Wildlife Safari is a world-renowned medical and research facility. We are nationally recognized for our educational facility in veterinary and biological sciences and welcoming interns from all over the world. A favorite hang-out for Douglas County residents and great place to stop for the day as families travel along the I-5 corridor through southern Oregon. |

America's most decorated Battleship is now the area's most exciting museum, open for tours, events and overnight encampments. Exploring “BB62” is experiencing history in a whole new way. Not only do you see exhibits of artifacts from the ship’s past, but you are put into the exhibit as you go through the tour route. Sit in the chair from which Admiral Halsey commanded the fleet. Stretch out on the bunks where the sailors slept. Climb into the 16” gun turret and learn how the projectiles were loaded.

The Hollywood Bowl is a natural amphitheater in the heart of Los Angeles. Home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, this theater offers some of the best acoustics in the entire world. It is one of the best places to listen to and watch musical performances, from operas and symphonies to rock n roll and soul, the Hollywood Bowl also displays some of the finest 4th of July fireworks displays in the entire world. One of the special aspects of the Hollywood Bowl is that, since it is located in the heart of the city, thse living in the surrounding neighborhood are able to hear the sounds that come from the ampitheater; certainly a nice touch to a walk through Hollywood.

Downtown Boathouse's dock is attached directly to the waterside promenade in Riverside Park, approximately at 72nd St. Take the 72nd St. stairs into the park and follow the walkway to the river, and you will find us. 72nd Street offers Walk up Kayaking every weekend and holiday from 10AM until 5PM with the last boat going out at 4:30, however on nice weekends there is often a very long line and we can not gaurantee you will have a chance to go out if you arrive after 4PM. |

Waterslides - NRH2O has three awesome body slides. Guests must be at least 48" tall to ride the body slides.
The Black Falls is a thrilling, enclosed slide that plummets riders through near-darkness to the water below. The Great White is an open flume that is perfect for guests looking for a calmer ride. The Blue Twister is a twisting, turning ride that is totally enclosed. NRH2O also has three exciting double rider innertube slides. The Double Dipper, our double rider innertube slide, is perfect for parents who wish to ride with their children. Its twisting turns and sloping drops make this one of our most popular slides. Purplepalooza! A totally enclosed, totally tubular, double rider slide. The Green Extreme is a seven story tall waterslide with 1,161 feet of twists and turns! Guests must be at least 42" tall to ride the Green Extreme. |

The Landing hosts more than 350 events each year including Florida/Georgia Weekend Celebrations, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve and Gator Bowl Celebrations, St. Patrick's Day and July 4th. Weekly events include live weekend entertainment in the center courtyard offering a variety of music including classic rock, oldies, contemporary, jazz, and top 40. The Landing also hosts a myriad of events for the community such as charity walks and runs and the Earth Day Ecology Fair. The center span was the longest among suspension bridges until 1964 when the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge was erected between the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City. The Golden Gate Bridge also had the world's tallest suspension towers at the time of construction, and retained that record until more recently. In 1957, Michigan's Mackinac Bridge surpassed the Golden Gate Bridge's length to become the world's longest two tower suspension bridge in total length between anchorages. Construction of the cross frame was done in two shops in Pampa, Texas by more than 100 welders and erected in July of 1995. Truly, all things are possible for those who believe.

Fun Plex started here in Omaha, Neb in 1978. We started small with miniature golf, go-karts, and an arcade.
As the years passed by we have made many expansions and improvements. We built a new go-kart track, introduced a slick track, and subsequently built many more rides. These include bumper cars, bumper boats, and numerous kiddie rides. The year 1984 saw many changes for Fun Plex. This is when we introduced the first elements of our waterpark. We started simply with a wave pool. A few years later we built twin 5-storey Typhoon water slides. Today, we are continuing our expansions plans. In 2001 we added two new rides, the Balloon Ferris Wheel and the Kiddie Train. In 2002 we remodeled our midway into our new air-conditioned Pit Stop. 2003 saw the addition of both the Yo-Yo and the Chaos.. Fun Plex now consists of two water slides, a wave pool, a lazzy river, 5 kiddie rides, batting cages, a go-kart and slick track, bumper cars and boats, Tilt-A-Whirl, and a Ferris Wheel. We now see tens of thousands of guests come through our park every year and host numerous company picnics. In 2004 we are planning lots of great changes, and we hope you will be there with us to share in the exciting news ! ! ! |
