They have hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items. Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system. Big Apple Greeter's office is staffed by 6 paid staff and about 35 volunteers who work in every aspect of the program, from answering visitors’ questions and matching visitors with Greeters, to computer tech support and special events. What might look easy to do on the surface (you submit a request and a volunteer meets you at your accommodation) actually takes a large infrastructure to support. We receive over 10,000 requests a year, and it takes a lot of people to make sure the right volunteer speaking the right language is meeting the right visitors at the right time and location.

Of course, they still needed to make a living in order to fund these initial adventures. We believe one of the greatest assets of Colorado Motorcycle Tours is the service-oriented minds of its owners. These skills were honed in the years prior to the creation of this company and will be quite apparent on the road and during the course of your vacation. Now both in their mid-thirties, they have the experience and skills to do the job well and the youthful enthusiasm to make it fun. Evan has recently relocated to California with this lovely wife Karen. Colorado Motorcycle Tours will continue operating and offering great tours throughout the area this riding season, but we'll be enlisting the help of some friends that have helped us in the past.
