The nation’s first enclosed regional shopping center. The center, which opened in 1956, is anchored by Macy’s, JC Penney and Marshall’s. Southdale also has more than 120 specialty stores, including Aveda, Coach, J. Crew, Banana Republic and The Apple Store, as well as a state-of-the-art 16-screen AMC Theatre. The Mall at Prince Georges is an enclosed regional shopping mall located in Hyattsville, Maryland, at the intersection of Belcrest Road and East-West Highway (Maryland Route 410). It is served by a Washington Metro station that goes by the name Prince George's Plaza, which is the Mall's former name. This station is on the Green Line. Located across Belcrest Road from the Mall is the University Town Center mixed-use development.

The Landing hosts more than 350 events each year including Florida/Georgia Weekend Celebrations, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve and Gator Bowl Celebrations, St. Patrick's Day and July 4th. Weekly events include live weekend entertainment in the center courtyard offering a variety of music including classic rock, oldies, contemporary, jazz, and top 40. The Landing also hosts a myriad of events for the community such as charity walks and runs and the Earth Day Ecology Fair. Local merchants and a number of independently-owned shops and restaurants can also be found within the mall perimeter. An eight-screen Consolidated Theatres movie theater is nestled into one corner of the mall. Waialae Bowl, the only bowling center within several miles of the neighborhood, was somewhat interestingly built into a McDonald's, at the corner opposite the movie theater. Unfortunately, it has since closed down (not related to the flood, however.)
The movie theater in this mall was closed in March 2006. It has since reopened. The closing occurred as a result of flooding from heavy rains. The flood broke a hole through the wall of the theater and flowed into the mall, and parts of the ground floor had 3-6 inches of rain water. Many shops suffered substantially; some never reopened. Ace Hardware, Beall's Home Outlet, Family Dollar Store, and The Green Valley News and Sun are the major businesses located in the Green Valley Mall.

Quaker Bridge Mall is a two-level, major shopping center located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, on U.S. Route 1 near Interstate 295. The mall opened in 1975, and has over 120 retail establishments. Owned by Kravco Simon, the mall's anchor stores include J.C. Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Old Navy and Sears. It is also the location of the transmitter for the New Jersey-based radio station WKXW-FM, better known as New Jersey 101.5.
To accommodate the upcoming expansion of the mall, the JCPenney department store is expected to close and relocate to the southern area of the mall (adjacent to Sears) with an expected open date of Fall 2009. Source

San Jacinto Mall is located on I-10 at Garth Road. This 1.2 million square foot mall has anchors such as Foley's, JCPenney, Marshalls, Palais Royal, and Sears. It also contains over 100 specialty retailers and food court merchants including Premiere Cinemas 11.
Other features include a two-story carousel, delta play area, and birthday party area, all located above the food court in Circus Play Park.
Located just minutes from Houston Raceway Park, the San Jacinto Monument, and the Battleship Texas, the area provides many attractions and hotels for excitement and leisure.

Bel Air Mall is a super-regional shopping mall, located in Mobile, Alabama, United States. It is the oldest continuously operating enclosed super-regional mall in Alabama and is one of the primary retail venues for the west Mobile shopping district located at the vicinity of Airport Boulevard and Interstate 65.
