Parque Prefeito Ferraz nome oficial do Campo, pertenceu aos Benedetinos do Mosteiro de São Bento, que adquiriram as terras em 1697, de Manoel Rodrigues Raimundo, saldando a dívida de forma peculiar: em gado advindo de Campos. Em 1840/41, com o Plano de Arruamento seus limites foram definidos como o que conhecemos hoje. Em 1882/83, o Parque foi aterrado e no Início deste século, foi urbanizado. Peter Dubacher started the Berkshire Bird Paradise, a certified not for profit company back in 1972 as a "labor of love." It has grown into one of the largest bird sanctuaries in the country. The sanctuary has evolved into an outdoors educational institution, where students on field trips with their parents or on college internship programs can learn about birds. The sanctuary is also a small botanical garden with hundreds of plants and exotic flowers .We are constantly improving our grounds, with the help of great volunteers.

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden will kick off its roster of 2013 events on January 12 with a concert by the Vincent Ruggieri Jazz Quartet and an exhibition of the work of two unique artists from the Snug Harbor Artist Residency Program (SHARP). The jazz concert, the first in the Island Sounds Music Mash-Up series will be from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Main Hall, Building C. The SHARP exhibition will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art in Building G. Refreshments will be served. Admission to both events is free. The Snug Harbor campus is at 1000 Richmond Terrace in Staten Island.

O Parque Guinle é um parque público localizado numa área arborizada de cerca de 30 mil metros quadrados no entorno do Palácio Laranjeiras, residência do governador do Rio de Janeiro. O Parque foi no originalmente construído como jardins do palacete da família Guinle erguido na década de 20. A partir de 1940, o Parque Guinle passou a pertencer ao Governo Federal e foi objeto de um projeto de urbanização com a construção de um conjunto de edifícios residenciais projetados pelo arquiteto Lucio Costa, concebidos conforme os princípios propostos pelo arquiteto francês Le Corbusier, que serviram de ensaio para o padrão residencial das superquadras da capital do país, Brasília.

A Casa França-Brasil é um Centro Cultural difusor de Arte Contemporânea, com Exposições, Projeto Educativo, Sala de Leitura e Bistrô. A instituição está instalada numa construção neoclássica tombada, projetada no século XIX. Em janeiro de 1816 chegou ao Rio de Janeiro uma Missão Artística Francesa chefiada pelo escritor Joachim Lebreton (1760-1819), com o objetivo de formar no Brasil o núcleo de uma Academia de Belas Artes. De suas atividades deriva o projeto do prédio que hoje abriga a Casa França-Brasil, de autoria de Grandjean de Montigny, idealizado para ser uma Praça de Comércio (inaugurada em 13/10/1820 e fechada um ano depois). Em 1824, o prédio é reaberto como alfândega. E, 1956 a 1978, sedia o II Tribunal do Júri. Fechado desde então, é reinaugurado em 29/03/1990 depois de convênio firmado entre a Secretaria Estadual de Cultural, a Secretaria de Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico, a Fundação Nacional Pró-Memória, o Ministério da Cultura da França, a Fundação Roberto Marinho e a Rodhia para a execução das obras que o tornaram um centro cultural.
