These gems can be obtained through direct consultation with an IWM Portfolio Manager, by joining “Sergio’s Cellar” Wine Club, or by scheduling a private tasting in IWM’s Vintage Tasting Room or Studio del Gusto. "Whiskey Ed" Houdek first opened the doors to Ye Olde Spirit Shoppe in 1965. Back then he'd deliver mail for the Bayport Post Office during the day and at night he'd work selling fine liquors and wine. In 1972 Ed doubled the size of the store making it so long and narrow that you could fit four lanes of bowling within the store's walls. The original address of the Park Avenue Liquor Shop was 97 Park Avenue. As the landscape of the city began to change, the original home of our shop was marked to come down. But our love for the city was strong and we decided to make a move just around the corner to 23 East 40th Street. Then in 1975, we moved once more to our current location, 292 Madison Avenue.
