The Fifty Year Club of the Ohio State Fair is an organization that holds an annual meeting during the fair. The objective of the group is to support, improve , and promote the Ohio State Fair and develop fellowship among the members.

Friday night not withstanding, Saturday night's performance of Delbert McClinton, at 10pm, promises to be one of the best Roots Festival performances yet.

The VII Cine Fest Petrobras Brasil-NY, an official event of New York summer, is back to Manhattan between August 02 and 07, to present the best Brazilian films from 2008/2009.
It not only offers great visibility to Brazilian culture, but the Cine Fest Petrobras Brasil-NY has an important role in the development of new business and partnerships, by introducing our audiovisual products to the American market.
This year the schedule includes the opening night at Central Park with a show and an outdoor screening, the competitive screenings of feature-films, Reavealing the Brasis series and a lounge with DJ at the Tribeca Cinemas.
The Crystal Lens Award will be presented to the best feature-film as chosen by the public.

September. In 1972 The Rutland Fair became officially the Vermont State Fair.
The Fair has had top name entertainers such as Loretta Lynn, Buck Owens, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, Charlie Pride.

September/October - This year we introduce a new event program at the VIFF. As part of our hospitality and networking initiatives, the festival is hosting a regular series of receptions at our spacious new Vancouver International Film Centre.

A lo largo de sus veinte años de existencia, el Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara se ha consolidado como un espacio privilegiado para la exhibición del cine de calidad. Septermber/October. Just a couple hours drive from the glorious Rocky Mountains, Edmonton is known for its big sky and endless sunshine. With a population of one million people, Edmonton is a city that loves movies. It's reported that the number one, per capita, movie rental city in Canada is Edmonton. Need we say more? Oh yes, and we have the world's largest shopping mall -- West Edmonton Mall.

The Calgary International Film Festival Society was established in 1999 as a non-profit organization providing an annual world-class cinema event for the citizens of Calgary and area. We aim to showcase the best of national and international film to Calgary audiences. The Festival has brought numerous Canadian film premieres and world caliber filmmakers to our city.
