In August 2005 ALLURE'S beauty editor stated, "Canale is linked with famous blondes like Carolyn Murphy... our caramel locks convinced even our most skeptical brunette friends to cross color lines." VOGUE MAGAZINE quotes, "he is not only really good, he's really fast." He is regularly included in 'W' MAGAZINE'S annual BLACKBOOK.
Michael currently maintains a very select clientele in New York, Washington DC, as well as his salon in Beverly Hills. Prior to opening in Beverly Hills Michael maintained an international private clientele in Gsdtaad, Paris and London. He has been invited to attend inaugurations and inaugural balls by four presidents as an official hairstylist for dignitaries and visitors. He was included in Earl Blackwell's famous "list" as one of the world's finest beauty professionals for four consecutive years.

Founded in 1998 by its owner and operator Danielle Malone, who saw the need for an upscale day spa at the Jersey Shore that had the fun and casual atmosphere that is usually lacking at other day spas.
