College Square is owned and managed by CBL & Associates. It features approximately 70 stores and restaurants including Carmike College Square Cinemas 9. A new movie theater is under construction at the mall, on part of the southern parking lot. Parkway Place opened on October 16, 2002. This mall is 650,000 square feet, anchored by Dillard's and Belk. Parkway Place offers shoppers of the Tennessee Valley over 70 stores including abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch and Williams-Sonoma. The mall has over 2,800 free parking spaces (including the parking deck) and seats 400 people in the food court.
