Over a hundred years ago, Victoria Ward and her husband Curtis Perry Ward, shared a unique business partnership and created an estate extending from Thomas Square to the shore. Their former home, "Old Plantation", is the site of Blaisdell Concert Hall. When Curtis died in 1882, Victoria Ward and her daughters carried on the family business which continues to influence Honolulu's commercial and retail development to this day.

The Mall at Johnson City is an enclosed shopping mall in Johnson City, Tennessee, United States. The mall features over 70 stores and a food court. It is managed by Glimcher Realty Trust. Opened in the 1970s, the mall features Dick's Sporting Goods, Belk, JCPenney, and Sears, Roebuck and Company as anchor stores, with more than 70 inline tenants.
Recently, there have been a series of major additions/expansions being undertaken. The newest addition to the Mills is a 130,000-square-foot Cabela's store that opened on April 13, 2007. Also in April 2007, The Mills Corp. merged into Simon Property Group; St. Louis Mills is their only property in the St. Louis area. Bayshore Community Foundation announced the continuation of the Change for Charity meter program where proceeds generated through parking meter revenue are donated to area non-profit organizations. Change for Charity designates a new organization every two months to receive a portion of the parking meter proceeds and ticket revenue generated at Bayshore. The 2008 recipients are the sophomore class of local nonprofit organizations that will benefit from the program.
