Ética, democracia, respeito e solidariedade são os valores fundamentais em que se baseia o Estação do Aprender para orientar suas ações pedagógicas. Estas, por sua vez, são pautadas por um princípio a que somos fiéis: a formação integral.
O Estação do Aprender é um espaço onde as oportunidades de aprendizagem são múltiplas e em todas as áreas do conhecimento. Nossas atividades são planejadas a partir dos fundamentos teóricos de Paulo Freire, Celestin Freinet, Jean Piaget, Emília Ferreiro e Vygotsky.
É na escola, com seu papel revitalizado, que as crianças e os jovens devem construir as bases de seu futuro, de seus valores e de seus projetos e objetivos. The School for Children is an independent demonstration school for Bank Street College and a working model of the College's approach to learning and teaching.
