Devonshire Mall opened August 12,1970. The area was previously the "Devonshire Raceway" in the earlier part of the 20th Century, until burning down in 1939.
When Devonshire Mall opened its doors 21 years later, it boasted 70 stores. Since then, the mall has had five expansions: 1974, 1985, 1987, 1995, and 2000. Now, with 175 stores and services and over 1 million square feet in size, Devonshire Mall dominates the retail landscape in Windsor and the lower southern expanse of Ontario. Devonshire Mall is a leading performer in the Canadian retail scene.

The Mall at Lawson Heights is a shopping centre located at the junction of Warman Road and Primrose Drive in north Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It is anchored by Zellers, Safeway and London Drugs, and has almost 100 shops and services. The mall opened in the early 1980s during a period of rapid growth in the city's north end subdivisions. At the time, it had the first enclosed food court in Saskatoon, along with many independent and franchise chains. An extensive renovation in the early 1990s added another 40 stores, along with a new food court.
