Nascida no Rio de Janeiro, a Tia Iara trilhou por um longo caminho até chegar ao topo do turismo. Após anos como professora e, posteriormente, como diretora de um dos maiores colégios cariocas, visualizou nas viagens uma maneira de unir seus sonhos ao modo arrojado de trabalhar. Veio para o Rio Grande do Sul em 1975 e, começando como guia turística, ajudou a criar uma das tradicionais agências de Porto Alegre. Após alguns anos levando grupos com mais de mil passageiros ao "Mundo Mágico", criou a TIA IARA TURISMO. Ao longo de sua trajetória, formou uma completa equipe de guias que acompanham o grupo durante toda a viagem, garantindo a total segurança e integração dos passageiros. A Tia Iara sempre deu grande atenção aos jovens, suprindo todas as suas necessidades, pois comercializa desde a sua famosa excursão Disney, até viagens ao Beto Carrero, Porto Seguro e Bariloche.
