At the Baranov Museum you can discover the history of Kodiak, Alaska through a variety of permanent and temporary exhibits, educational programs, and special events.
Explore Kodiak's rich history, from Alutiiq culture and the Russian colonial period to the early American era, WWII and the present day. The Baranov Museum is located within Kodiak's 200-year-old National Historic Landmark building known as the Russian American Magazin, or the Erskine House.

A Casa das Rosas, localizada na Avenida Paulista número 37, foi projetada na década de 1930 pelo escritório de Ramos de Azevedo, para ser a residência de sua filha Lúcia, recém casada com o engenheiro Ernesto Dias de Castro. A bela casa, hoje referência na vida do paulistano, foi uma das últimas construções realizadas na avenida.

O Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo (MAC USP) tem em seu acervo cerca de 8.000 obras, entre óleos, desenhos, gravuras, esculturas, objetos e trabalhos conceituais, constituindo grande patrimônio cultural com decorrências sociais nacionais e internacionais. The Rice Museum, known locally as The Town Clock, is located in the Old Market Building and is a prominent symbol of Georgetown County. Through dioramas, maps, artifacts and other exhibits, visitors to the Museum are enlightened to the history of a society dependent on the rice crop. In 1750, George Town became the center of rice production in the colony. By 1840, the Georgetown District (later County) produced nearly one-half of the total rice crop of the United States. The 1850s proved to be the most profitable decade for the rice planters. The Rice Museum chronicles this most important American timeline and its impact on not only South Carolina, but internationally as well.

One of the most diverse cultures in the United States is the African-American. The Museum for African Art is a Queens museum that has taken the big step in solidifying a visual link between African society and the general populous by offering the best work on display to the public. This New York City museum has over 70 exhibitions, all showcasing the beauty and diversity of African art and constantly rotates their selections. It is also highly interactive with the public, housing an education department dedicated to enlightening people and helping to bring a better understanding about the African culture. The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is the nation's premier aviation museum devoted exclusively to helicopters. We collect, restore and display historic aircraft and chronicle the origin and development of rotary wing aircraft. Each year the Museum hosts thousands of visitors, school groups, families and senior citizens. Tourists of all ages from the U.S and abroad come here to witness the history and the future of the helicopter.

Thannhauser Collection - February 1, 2011 – January 25, 2013 Justin K. Thannhauser was the son of renowned art dealer Heinrich Thannhauser, who founded the Galerie Moderne in Munich in 1909. From an early age, Thannhauser worked with his father, building an impressive program of exhibitions of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism and the art of the contemporary French and German avant-gardes. The Thannhausers’ commitment to promoting artistic progress paralleled the vision of Solomon R. Guggenheim. In recognition of this shared spirit, Justin Thannhauser ultimately bequest a significant portion of his art collection—including masterpieces by Cézanne, Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Picasso, Pissarro, Renoir, and Van Gogh—which is on view in a dedicated gallery, to the Guggenheim Museum.
The mission of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is to promote the understanding and appreciation of art, architecture, and other manifestations of modern and contemporary visual culture; to collect, preserve, and research art objects; and to make them accessible to scholars and an increasingly diverse audience through its network of museums, programs, educational initiatives, and publications.

A Estação Ciência - USP é um centro de ciências interativo que realiza exposições e atividades nas áreas de Astronomia, Meteorologia, Física, Geologia, Geografia, Biologia, História, Informática, Tecnologia, Matemática, Humanidades, além de cursos, eventos e outras atividades, com o objetivo de popularizar a ciência e promover a educação científica de forma lúdica e prazerosa.
Para receber os visitantes, a Estação Ciência tem uma equipe de estagiários (estudantes universitários) que auxiliam nos experimentos, fornecem informações e esclarecem dúvidas sobre as exposições.

O Museu do Açude situa-se na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, no coração da Floresta da Tijuca, numa área de 150 mil metros quadrados e tem o propósito de relacionar o patrimônio cultural ao natural. Sua sede no estilo neocolonial, cercada pela mata atlântica é a antiga residência de verão de Raymundo Ottoni de Castro Maya (1894-1968). Apresenta coleção de azulejos, painéis franceses, holandeses, espanhóis e portugueses dos séculos XVII ao XIX. Louça do Porto, fabricada a partir do século XIX em Portugal, além de exemplares raros de escultura chinesa, indiana e porcelanas de procedências diversas. O Museu ganhou destaque por ser o cenário externo da mansão da viúva Porcina, vivida pela atriz Regina Duarte na novela Roque Santeiro.

O Museu do Mar é uma entidade única no Brasil, de iniciativa privada, sem finalidade lucrativa, tendo como principal objetivo o aperfeiçoamento cultural e intelectual da comunidade pelo estudo sistemático das ciências do mar.
Seu acervo é conhecido no mundo inteiro por pesquisadores, institutos oceanográficos e demais instituições congêneres - com os quais mantém a entidade permanente intercâmbio científico -, sendo considerado pela comunidade especializada um dos mais completos e diversificados da América Latina.

O Arquivo Histórico Judaico de Pernambuco instalou-se, em dezembro de 2001, no Museu Sinagoga Kahal Zur Israel. Responsável pelas ações museológicas do espaço, constituiu-se como uma associação civil de direito privado, sem fins lucrativos, filiado à Federação Israelita de Pernambuco.
É parceiro também das unidades do Museu Judaico do Rio de Janeiro , Arquivo Histórico Judaico Brasileiro em São Paulo, Instituto Histórico Israelita Mineiro em Belo Horizonte-MG , Instituto Marc Chagal em Porto Alegre –RS, entre outros.

Projetado pelo arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer, o Museu, construído no Mirante da Boa Viagem, local privilegiado que se debruça sobre as águas da Baía de Guanabara e leva o olhar do visitante até o outro lado, onde estão o Corcovado e o Pão de Açúcar. Niemeyer afirmava que ao visitar o local "imaginou o museu como qualquer coisa solta na paisagem, um pássaro branco a se lançar sobre o céu e o mar de Niterói"; o que quer dizer um supremo respeito à paisagem. Uma parte significativa da memória do Estado de Goiás pode ser encontrada no Museu Ferroviário, localizado em Pires do Rio, a 142 quilômetros de Goiânia. Criado em 1988 pelo historiador, escritor, poeta e professor piresino Jacy Siqueira, ele retrata um pouco da história da formação das cidades da região da estrada de ferro.
O museu está instalado em um prédio da década de 40, onde funcionava a oficina mecânica das locomotivas a vapor da estrada de ferro Goyaz. Ocupa uma área de 80 mil metros quadrados e é tombado pelo patrimônio histórico e artístico do município e do Estado de Goiás. "A cidade surgiu com a chegada do trem. O museu é um bem importantíssimo para Pires do Rio, pois preserva a memória de um período de intensa atividade cultural e é referência para a população nos dias de hoje", afirma a diretora do espaço, Ercy Saud.

Museu Histórico Nacional, criado em 1922, é um dos mais importantes museus do Brasil, reunindo um acervo de mais de 287.000 itens, entre os quais a maior coleção de numismática da América Latina.
O conjunto arquitetônico que abriga o Museu desenvolveu-se a partir do Forte de Santiago, na Ponta do Calabouço, um dos pontos estratégicos para a defesa da cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
Visando recuperar a arquitetura original, ampliar espaços destinados ao público, aprimorar os serviços oferecidos aos visitantes, democratizar o acesso dos mais diversos segmentos da sociedade e viabilizar uma circulação e um percurso adequados ao discurso museográfico, o conjunto arquitetônico que abriga o Museu passou, entre 2003 e 2006, por importantes obras de restauração e modernização.

The DOCKYARD MUSEUM in the Naval Officer's House interprets the story of English Harbour and of the people that toiled in this famous Georgian Royal Naval Yard. It also explains the 20th century return of sailing ships and the aims and aspirations of Nelson's Dockyard National Park. There is also a small "Nelson's Room" with a life sized portrait of Nelson researched through archaeological means.
