Maurice Badler established his business in America over fifty years ago. Prior to that, he was a master diamond cutter in Antwerp, Belgium. His painstaking attention to small details earned him a reputation as a perfectionist. If you worked for him, you had to be good!
Today, the business remains in family hands, with Maurice's son Jeffrey at the helm. As a skilled gemologist, he has earned a reputation for skill and honesty on par with his father. But now, he's taken the excitement of the company to a new level. With an experienced eye for fashion, Jeffrey travels to Europe regularly to seek out as yet undiscovered designers whose wares have not yet been seen. He's established relationships with some of the finest jewelry artisans the world has to offer. You'll be able to come to Maurice Badler to see the latest in jewelry trends well before most even know the designs exist. With his contacts around the world, we're able to have the standard basics at a quality and price level that others can't compete with.

Ara, Designer/CEO, was born in Liberia, Africa, where the beauty of the world struck him at an early age. Upon arrival in the United States in 1985, Ara turned to his artistic renderings and sought an outlet for his creative vision. Working from his loft in Soho, Ara began exhibiting his jewelry designs in 1992 at industry trade shows. Quickly finding enthusiastic buyers, Ara invested himself fully into building this business, eventually leading to the opening of his first NYC retail store on the edge of SOHO on Bleecker Street. Ara has now successfully opened the Versani Flagship Boutique in the heart of SOHO on Mercer Street, in addition to opening two more retail stores across the country - the elegant Mulberry Street location in Nolita, NYC, and our southern hot-spot location in Miami's South Beach. Moving forward is a constant goal of Versani Jewelry.

Pat Areias Sterling has its roots in the old Mexican tradition of silversmithing and today is one of the most innovative companies in the field. Artistically, Pat Areias strives to maintain the same level of excellence achieved by the great silversmithing visionaries Jean Puiforcat of France, George Jensen of Denmark and William Spratling of Taxco. Pat Areias Sterling began in 1987 in Cuernavaca, Mexico, with the introduction of a three-piece buckle set which became the foundation of the designer's business. Two years later, she added silver jewelry to her collection. Reminiscent of the Art Deco era, her designs are marked by a contemporary style.
