K-12. In Chapin’s rigorous liberal arts curriculum, students are instructed and supported by a dedicated, distinguished faculty. Small class size ensures individual attention in each of the three divisions: Lower School (Kindergarten through Class 3), Middle School (Classes 4 through 7), and Upper School (Classes 8 through 12). The mission of RFK Community High School is to provide all students with a high quality, comprehensive, and personalized education by incorporating the use of technology and numerous research-based teaching styles into our academic program. Edison is north of Jamaica High School, separated by 84th Avenue and the Jamaica High School cutting edge and state-of-the-art Track and Football Field. Hillcrest High School is another nearby high school. Hillcrest is located at 87th Avenue and Parsons Boulevard, right near Gateway High School for the Sciences

N-12. Staten Island Academy is a coeducational college-preparatory day school educating students from age four through high school. The Academy was founded in 1884 and since that time it has stood as a beacon of educational excellence.
The school is the oldest private school on Staten Island and it is proud of its unique status as the only independent school in the borough. Our “home” is a beautiful 12-acre campus with outstanding facilities including a new fitness center, renovated library, athletics fields, state-of-the art technology, a gym, computer labs, science labs, tennis courts, and two outdoor swimming pools.
At the Academy we are committed to the education of the whole child through a rigorous academic program, innovative performing and visual arts programs, and a comprehensive althletics and health and wellness program.

Cardinal Spellman HS is generally recognized as one of the finest Catholic high school structures in the nation. Its facilities include three floors of classrooms around a beautifully landscaped, Japanese-style, garden courtyard. In May of 1999, the courtyard was dedicated to the memory of Msgr Jeremiah Monahan, who had died suddenly in October, 1998.
In addition to the regular classrooms (each having closed-circuit television) there are many fully-equipped special-purpose rooms and learning spaces: a large Gymnasium which can be partioned into two or four smaller gyms, a Cafeteria for 700, a magnificent Auditorium with backstage space and rigging better than many Broadway theaters, a separate Little Theatre, a tiered Band Room and four separate and private music-practice rooms.

Cardinal Hayes High School was built and organized by His Eminence Francis Cardinal Spellman between September, 1940 and September, 1941. Its original student body consisted of over 3000 students who attended this institution at the Main Building on the Grand Concourse or at one of the four annexes.
The school provides a quality education and religious formation for young men of the Bronx and Manhattan. Cardinal Hayes High School has been staffed since its beginning by Archdiocesan Priests, Irish Christian Brothers, De La Salle Brothers, Franciscan Brothers and Priests, Marist Brothers, Xaverian Brothers, Religious Sisters and scores of dedicated laymen and women.
