Security Square Mall is a large mall in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Foothills Mall is an indoor regional shopping mall located in Maryville, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville. Foothills Mall features approximately 70 stores and restaurants. Adjacent to the mall is the Foothills Plaza complex which includes several additional restaurants and a cineplex with 8 screens.
Opened in 1983, Foothills Mall is the only shopping mall in burgeoning suburban Blount County, part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The mall was originally anchored by Maryville based Proffitt's, a regional department store; Miller's, another regional department store that was a division of Allied Stores; JC Penney; and Sears. Proffitt's and Miller's no longer exist, and their store spaces are now used by Belk. Recently, the mall had added several additional stores, including TJ Maxx and Goody's Family Clothing. Source

Considered the first successful adaptive re-use project in the country, was originally a chocolate factory established by Domenico “Domingo” Ghirardelli. The chocolate manufacturing operation was sold and transferred to San Leandro in the 1960s. Unique shops and restaurants were created within the old factory combining the latest in retailing and fine cuisine with the flavor of old San Francisco. The restoration project officially opened on November 29, 1964.

Burlington Square opened as Holly Hill Mall in 1969, in reference to the nearby neighborhood where it was located. At the time, the mall's anchor stores included JCPenney, Belk, Sears, and Woolworth, which eventually became Goody's.
