A not-for-profit arts organization that teaches and preserves traditional Chinese performing arts while nurturing innovations for diverse audiences across the United States. Core programs support artists of the highest caliber and provide vital links between communities and across generations. The Center is supported, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. A non-profit organization dedicated to extending the dream, dance legacy, and indomitable spirit of Isadora Duncan. The Foundation is based in New York City and supports the work of its resident performing troupe, Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company. The Company offers hundreds of performances annually of Isadora's original choreography as passed down through generations of Duncan dancers, in addition to new works, educational workshops and creative programs that nurture the soul and lift the spirit.

Capoeira Angola, an ancient martial art of African origin, is one of the many cultural weapons used to break the chains of enslavement in Brazil. Played close to the ground, Capoeira Angola combines fluid, dance-like movements with kicks, head butts, tripping sweeps and the appearance of playfulness or vulnerability. Music is played on traditional instruments to accompany the players, to teach the rhythmic heart of the art, and also to mask its power. In the eyes of the enslavers it appeared to be a joking and playful acrobatic dance, but eventually its power was realized and Capoeira was outlawed. Death was the penalty paid by those caught playing Capoeira during the slavery era. For almost 400 years Capoeira Angola was taught and practiced in secret, and only in the 1930's did this African martial art become legal to teach and practice.

Konajilo Luseni is a native of Brooklyn, NY and has been dancing since the age of five. With a dance background spanning genres including modern, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and African, Kona has choreographed, performed and taught for various children, teen and adult groups in the New York area.
Kona's love for dance set her sights to explore a new style of movement: Salsa/Mambo on2. After a year of basic training at La Salsa De Hoy, her passion for this exciting form of dance led her to seek more advance instruction at Salsa Dance Studio. |

Karine Newborn was born and raised in Paris France where she studied ballet with teachers from the Paris conservatory and The Paris Opera, she also studied jazz, modern, placement and voice. At the age of 15 she started working in some of the most renowned modern jazz companies in Paris and performed in "Cats" (Paris). She continued her career in France until she moved to America to pursue bigger dreams. She worked as a dancer,Choreographer and dance teacher for well over 2 decades, and had the joy of performing in many stage shows ("Golden Boys", "Cats", "Aida" (Broadway) and numerous music videos & movies ("South Pacific" with Glenn Close, "Do You Want To Dance" etc.) trade show industrial (Nike, Asix, Abba & many more).
