The landmark tavern at Five Points in Mercerville was built in the mid-1700s. The exact date is not known, but it is rumored that George Washington and his troops passed by the tavern on their way to the “Battle of Princeton”. In later years, the tavern was owned by many prominent area families and can lay claim to the oldest liquor license issued in Hamilton Township.

Heartland Brewer and Beer Hall is the fourth beer hall to opened under the Heartland Brewery. Adults 21 and up are welcome at all times, under 21 and over 8 years may enter the Icebar only at 7:15 and 8:00. No one under 21 may enter the Fire Lounge except on special events.
