Recently, a plan has been approved to expand the mall in order to create a "lifestyle" shopping complex. With these additions, a fashion wing will be devoted to connecting Nordstrom to Macy's with high-end boutiques, several other smaller anchors, more dining options, and other new stores. By the end of 2009, these upgrades will be complete to bring Westfield Montgomery more in line with the massive Tysons Corner Center in nearby McLean, Virginia. Source

Las Americas Premium Outlets is conveniently located from all areas of San Diego, just 20 minutes south of downtown off two freeways: From I-5 exit right on Dairy Mart Road, go 1/8th mile and turn left onto Camino de la Plaza. Over a hundred years ago, Victoria Ward and her husband Curtis Perry Ward, shared a unique business partnership and created an estate extending from Thomas Square to the shore. Their former home, "Old Plantation", is the site of Blaisdell Concert Hall. Greenville Mall was originally built as a strip center named Pitt Plaza. The center was enclosed in the 1980s as a response to construction of Carolina East Mall and named The Plaza.
