Cafe Metro's recipe for success began in 1981 with our first midtown New York City location at 530 Seventh Avenue. Since then, we have grown to become Manhattan's favorite gourmet fast food restaurant, serving the finest, freshest and most cutting edge food in Manhattan.

A gourmet café and Mediterranean marketplace, Cucina & Co. offers take-out and eat-in lunch and dinner from a diverse market selection of freshly-prepared, home-style Mediterranean culinary classics. Specialty sandwiches and pastas, alluring pastries and fresh salads, offer a bounty of selections for the taking.
The Serendipty 3 lost no time learning how to cook, design, whip and turn on the frozen hots. They rolled in the loot and rolled around the corner to the cozy brownstone on Serendipity Street. The entire Silk Stocking community squeezed into its tightest jeans and queued up.
The kitchen buzzed to all hours producing never-before extravaganzas. The general store and boutique grew trendier with every passing Hebrew Eyechart dishtowel and Little Red Riding Hood’s jigsaw puzzle (365 pieces all of them red). Swivel-hipped waiters balanced trays overflowing with calories. Everything was for sale, including the waiters. Frozen Hot Chocoholics were nurtured and Apricot Smushniks were sated. Palates pampered with caviar developed a list for Hard Times fare like Lemon Ice Box Pie and Texas Chili.

Luzia's Restaurant is a Portuguese jewel on the Upper West Side, hidden amongst the many average "pasta places" in the neighborhood. Upon entering, the modest space greets patrons with a handcrafted bar, laid beneath a faux terracotta roof. To the left is the dining room, under a brick archway.Executive Chef Rui Santo, who was classically trained in Portugal, has created a menu rich in tradition and style, while allowing guests to experience individual tastes and aromas his dishes bare. Private Parties are held at the Bruckner’s Lounge which is a private room in the back of the Restaurant. The room is equipped with a state of the art JBL sound system, stage lights, an actual stage and microphone setup.
