Desde sua inauguração, há 12 anos, o empreendimento se transformou no principal centro de compras e lazer para os consumidores dos mais de 60 municípios que integram a região. Um projeto de expansão concluído em abril de 2009 representou a renovação conceitual do Shopping, transformando-o em um lifestyle center. O mix de lojas ampliou de 110 para 194 e o número de âncoras de duas para sete, trazendo à região uma surpreendente reunião de marcas nacionais e internacionais.
A área inaugurada em 2009 reúne no Iguatemi Caxias projetos arquitetônicos de padrão internacional, lojas-conceito em tecnologia, moda, serviços, gastronomia, entre os mais diversos segmentos. Americanas, Carrefour, C&A, Colombo Premium, GNC Cinemas, Renner e Riachuelo são as lojas-âncora, operações que se destacam pelo apelo de vendas e fluxo de público que atraem.
Dos 15 mil metros quadrados de Área Bruta Locável (ABL), o Shopping passou a 36 mil metros quadrados que, somados ao Hipermercado Carrefour, totalizam cerca de 50 mil metros quadrados de área. A expansão aumentou a circulação mensal de clientes, um público com alto perfil socioeconômico, 78% pertencente às classes A e B e 49% com idade entre 20 e 39 anos.
Nessa nova estrutura, um espaço conceitual denominado Lifestyle tem destaque. Seu horário de funcionamento é independente do horário comercial do Shopping. Nele restaurantes, bares, cafés, confeitaria, cinema, parque de diversões indoor estão reunidos, oferecendo à comunidade regional não apenas uma inovação arquitetônica, mas um grupo de operações de lazer voltado a um novo estilo de vida, que resume a concepção da expansão.
Da criação à execução, os mais de 3 mil metros quadrados do Lifestyle foram trabalhados com o intuito de destacar um espaço de lazer destinado a todas as faixas etárias e propostas de entretenimento.

Atlantic Terminal Mall is a shopping mall located on Atlantic Avenue surrounded by Hanson Place, Fort Greene Place and Flatbush Avenue in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, New York.
It is also across the street from the older Atlantic Center Mall (via a small enclosed bridge from Target) which was developed by the same real estate company, Forest City Enterprises. It is also an office building and part of the ticket office of the Long Island Rail Road's Atlantic Terminal, which has been been under the process of renovation since the mall was built. The Palisades Center, often referred to as the Palisades Mall, in West Nyack, New York is the twelfth largest Shopping Mall in the United States, and the second largest in the Tri State Area.
The mall has four levels, each of which is approximately the shape of a rectangle. Its anchor stores include Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, Macy's, Home Depot, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Staples, Best Buy, and Target. BJ's and Home Depot are not accessible from the mall itself. BJ's is on the bottom level, with Home Depot built on top of it and Target on top of that. Target is on the 4th level of the mall but is not exactly at the same level and there are a few steps down leading into the store. Source |
