The mission of Bread Stuy is to provide a space for local artists, entrepreneurs and the general public to work, share ideas and enjoy the beauty of our neighborhood, Bedford Stuyvesant.
The ultimate goal of Bread Stuy is to provide fresh breads, fine desserts, customized cakes, in addition to gourmet soups, panini sandwiches and other savory items like quiches and potpies all baked onsite in the newly expanded kitchen. Bread Stuy is also interested in wholesale orders for local businesses as well as catering for your special events and/or meetings. |

Chocolate bon bons are handcrafted with all natural ingredients. Chocolate Bar always carry classic flavors (pure dark, caramel, praline, hazelnut, peanut butter, etc...). Seasonal flavors: pumpkin spice, honey-vanilla, port wine, wicked hot, dark lime, and white caramel apple.

Having just past its 110 Year Anniversary, this famous landmark was established in 1894 by its founder, Antonio Veniero. When he operated his establishment, it was a pool emporium and caffé where he served his baked products to his customers. Later, the demand fo his Italian pastries and cakes won him awards in Rome, Bolognia, and at the New York World’s Fair.

The Café La Nueva has established itself as a popular venue for people of all ages and backgrounds.
From the start La Nueva Café Bar Restaurant has become an integral part of Jackson Heights' street plan. The food on offer is eclectic and international in style. The Restaurant is open seven days per week, day and night. The Bar serves a fine selection of unusual draught and bottled beers and has a short but very selective wine list on offer. A wide variety of liqueurs, spirits and soft drinks are also available. The Café La Nueva has several spaces available for hire and the Café-Bar-Restaurant can provide all necessary food and drink services to satisfy most requirements. In 1988, equipped with little more than an apartment-sized oven and a strong desire to end her career in the hotel business, Cynthia Bruce Kramer started to bake her way into the cookie business, creating her own original recipes. Among her creations: chocolate truffles, key limes, and mint juleps. Her customers were friends and family.

Monreale Bakery was named after a small town in Sicily, Italy known for its world famous cathedral, Il Duomo di Monreale. Founder, Matteo DiFiore grew up in Italy and started working for his godfather’s bakery when he was 9 years old. He eventually moved to the U.S. and in 1975, opened his own retail bakery on Knickerbocker Ave. in Brooklyn, NY. With the help of his wife, Maria, who worked the front counter, Matteo built up his bakery business.

William Greenberg traditional baked goods still continue with the same classic recipes from the 40`s. "I began cooking and baking under the tutelage of my Aunt Gertrude to the delight of my family. In high school I sold cookies to the National Federation of Woman's Exchanges. In the Army I fed the troops and in 1946 I opened my first shop in New York. Whether it's a chocolate brownie or a wedding cake, my creations have pleased New Yorkers' palates for the past 42 years!"
