A high school in the Mineola Union Free School District and is located in Garden City Park, New York. It serves Mineola, Albertson, Williston Park, Garden City Park, and Roslyn Heights within its district.
It opened in 1962, replacing the old high school, which now houses the middle school. It recently underwent a multi-million-dollar refurbishing of the library. Tottenville High School was established in 1898. The school’s first principal was Nathan J. Lowe. Tottenville High School was originally located in the building now home to Totten Intermediate Junior High School (I.S. 34). In 1972, the school moved to its current location in Huguenot. Dr. Mary E. Brearley’s enrollment (K-12, divided into Lower School, Middle School and Upper School) today consists of about 670 students from throughout the New York metropolitan area who represent a diversity of backgrounds, experiences and points of view. St. Joseph Hill Academy is a K-12 Catholic school operated by the Congregation of the Daughters of Divine Charity. It is located on a fourteen acre, park-like campus in the Arrochar section of Staten Island, New York. The elementary school provides co-education for grades K-8. The Reece School is one of the oldest non-profit special education elementary schools in New York City. It was founded in 1948 by Ellen S. Reece and is housed in the home she once owned on East 93rd Street. Today the Reece School presents a highly academic elementary special education for nearly 75 students, ages 5 to 13, who present with learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, and emotional disabilities. The school’s program is full day and is offered within a nurturing environment that is designed to provide high levels of academic and emotional support. Children study a modified, sequential, elementary curriculum for grades K-6 and learn various strategies for overcoming their individual academic difficulties. They develop the social skills to function successfully in the classroom, the school, and the larger community.

Carle Place Middle/High School is a six-year comprehensive public high school located in the hamlet of Carle Place in Nassau County, New York.

N-12. Staten Island Academy is a coeducational college-preparatory day school educating students from age four through high school. The Academy was founded in 1884 and since that time it has stood as a beacon of educational excellence.
The school is the oldest private school on Staten Island and it is proud of its unique status as the only independent school in the borough. Offering an inquiry-based college-preparatory program with technology and arts infused throughout the curriculum. In addition to taking the New York State English Language Arts Regents, students demonstrate their mastery of material each year by presenting independent projects to panels of teachers. All Beacon students perform one semester of community service.

Currently, we are building a high school addition. As a result of the steady high enrollment over the past decade, SJVA was pressed to develop a strategic campus facility plan that would renovate existing buildings and increase the amount of space in our high school. Specifically, several of the oldest buildings on campus are unable to meet the space and program needs of our faculty and students. In order to maintain programs and to expand other areas of the curriculum, SJVA proposed a $5 million renovation and construction project. This will primarily consolidate the high school's academic space into a central location by enlarging and renovating the existing high school facility. A three-story wing is being built and connected to the current two-story high school. All new classrooms will be provided with "T1" Internet access lines. The project broke ground in December 2004 and is anticipated to be completed by September 2005. Of this $5 million renovation and construction project, $1 million must be raised from a capital campaign. Because St. John Villa is a private Catholic school, we do not receive public funds or money from the Archdiocese for capital projects and therefore, must seek private donations to accomplish this greatly needed project.

The mission statement of Martin Van Buren High School is to develop academic excellence in a safe and secure enviorment and to provide athletic and other activities which foster students achievement. The school's motto, "Solid lines of communication promote knowledge and understanding," express the philosophy of a school that promotes success through problem solving, personal and academic growth, and oppurtunities to develop leadership skills.
