    A Beautiful Balloon, United States
47 Assembly Point Rd - Lake George, NY
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly? Not enclosed in an airplane, but out in the open, just like a bird. To soar hundreds of feet in the air, seeing the land stretch out for miles below you. To float peacefully over lakes and mountains in a quiet that allows you to hear the sounds of nature below.
Hot-air balloon rides allow you to do just that, and in this site you'll see the beauty, excitement and wonder that hot-air ballooning offers. You'll see why we think everyone should have the experience of a hot-air balloon ride. Join us for a "free ride" through this web site and learn about the fun of hot air ballooning!
    Above the Clouds, United States
  Airport Rd - Middletown, NY
"Ballooning in the Hudson Valley of New York is about as close to the NYC area as you can get with a hot air balloon. Due to airspace restrictions and congested cities in the tri-state area, Middletown is a perfect blend of beauty and convenience. We are only an hour from New York City and much closer to Rockland, Westchester, Yonkers, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan Counties. I don't know of any balloon ride operators in Nassau or Suffolk Counties of Long Island. I can tell you we've flown hundreds of Long Islanders and they've all told me it was well worth the trip!"

"Pink Jeep Tours Las Vegas, Inc. opened in Las Vegas October 2001 to rave reviews. We saw a great opportunity to create a tour product in Las Vegas that was unique: With most ground tours companies using 50 passenger buses or 15 passenger vans, Pink Jeep Tours - Las Vegas, Inc. wanted to offer a "small group experience" in luxury off road vehicles to access areas inaccessible to most."

Goodness knows the world had its share of problems in 1951. The Korean War was raging in the Far East, while race riots flared in the Midwest. America was testing old atomic bombs in Las Vegas, and detonating new hydrogen ones in the Marshall Islands. Gen. Douglas MacArthur was fired for being a relentless hawk, the week after Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were sentenced to death for allegedly hawking atomic secrets. Actor Ronald Reagan co-starred with a chimp in Bedtime for Bonzo, and red-baiting Sen. Joe McCarthy co-starred with a similar crew, in the infamous House Un-American Activities Commitee.
