For your protection, height and safety requirements will be enforced on all rides and slides. Guests with certain body proportions, or of certain heights and/or weights, may not be able to enjoy certain rides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed. Specific ride information is available at each ride. For safety reasons, taking pictures, video taping or filming while on rides is prohibited.

"High Country Tours snowmobile trips accommodate individuals of all ages and experience levels. Our machines are for single or double riders and have a 400 lb. weight limit. They have hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items. Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system. We are an equal opportunity provider.
We are centrally located to all the ski areas including Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain. We offer free transportation. We meet at our office in Dillon or we can pick you up at your local lodging. You can also drive directly to our location. "

"We fly two flights a day, weather permitting. These flights are at sunrise and approximately two hours before sunset. This is when the winds are the calmest. Your balloon adventure will last around 2 1/2 hours with an actual flight duration of about 45 minutes to one hour. Following the flight there is a traditional champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Reservations are required as space is very limited!! We can carry four and six people respectively plus the pilot in each balloon. Weekends tend to fill up quicker than weekdays but usually space is available a week in advance."

Big Apple Greeter's office is staffed by 6 paid staff and about 35 volunteers who work in every aspect of the program, from answering visitors’ questions and matching visitors with Greeters, to computer tech support and special events. What might look easy to do on the surface (you submit a request and a volunteer meets you at your accommodation) actually takes a large infrastructure to support. We receive over 10,000 requests a year, and it takes a lot of people to make sure the right volunteer speaking the right language is meeting the right visitors at the right time and location.
