One evening many years ago two brothers on business in the Big Apple missed their train ride home. Being from out of town, getting late into the evening, and not knowing the landscape, they cooled off in a pub and thumbed through the yellow pages in search of a hotel room. Each call was hopeless — either fully booked or well beyond the means of two budget-minded travelers.
