Prior to Rouse Co.'s purchase of the mall in December 1997, The May Co. had committed to build an upscale Lord & Taylor store, with a new Strawbridge's as anchors to the mall. In addition a Guess store joined the mall, as an upscale retailer.
Nordstrom considered opening a store in South Jersey also, but they did not commit to the mall's expansion plans.
In an attempt to protect the Cherry Hill Mall, a mere 3 miles (4.8 km) away, the Rouse Co. acquired the Moorestown Mall. Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust acquired the Cherry Hill Mall, Echelon Mall, Moorestown Mall, Exton Square, Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Gallery at Market East on March 7, 2003. Source

Centerpoint Mall (formerly Towne and Country) is a shopping mall located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the corner of Steeles Avenue and Yonge Street. It is home to Canadian Tire, Zellers, The Bay, and until May 2008, a Loblaws (converted to No Frills). The mall also has a beer store on the southeast corner of the property. Newtonbrook Secondary School is built behind it.

Greenville Mall is a shopping mall located in Greenville, North Carolina which has over 500,000 square feet. It is located at the corner of Greenville and Arlington Boulevards.
Greenville Mall was originally built as a strip center named Pitt Plaza. The center was enclosed in the 1980s as a response to construction of Carolina East Mall and named The Plaza. It was subsequently renamed Colonial Mall Greenville when purchased by Colonial Properties Trust. The purchase of the mall by GG&A in 2007 resulted in the name being changed to Greenville Mall. El Paseo Gardens is mall located in Palm Desert's upscale El Paseo shopping district. The mall features forty-two stores, five restaurants, as well as a public square at the shopping mall's street front. The Mall at Lawson Heights is a shopping centre located at the junction of Warman Road and Primrose Drive in north Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It is anchored by Zellers, Safeway and London Drugs, and has almost 100 shops and services. The mall opened in the early 1980s during a period of rapid growth in the city's north end subdivisions. At the time, it had the first enclosed food court in Saskatoon, along with many independent and franchise chains. An extensive renovation in the early 1990s added another 40 stores, along with a new food court. Lethbridge Centre is a two storey enclosed regional multi use complex housing retail shopping, an 11 storey office tower, a professionnal galleria and a 6000 square foot Conference and Event Facility.
The centre is oriented in an easy/west direction and is anchored in the west by a two-storey department store that is wholly occupied by The Bay. The office tower adjoins the centre at the east end.
The main retail level and office tower were built in 1975 with the second retail storey being completed in 1988.
Today, Lethbridge Center boasts the tallest office building in the downtown core. The office tower is home to a variety of businesses including financial planners, goverment offices, insurance brokers, accountants, psychiatrists, dentists and more. The main level offers a mixture of local independent and chain retail shops. The second floor houses a professional galleria and a women's fitness and day spa.

Cataraqui Town Centre, (known informally as "the Cat Centre") is a shopping mall located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. It is the largest mall in southeastern Ontario with over 141 stores.
