The Beacon Theatre is the "older sister" to Radio City Music Hall. Both legendary venues were the "brainchild" of Samuel "Roxy" Rothafel, the great theatrical impresario and visionary of his time.

The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 242 West 45th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
Designed by architect Herbert J. Krapp, it opened as the Royale Theatre on January 11, 1927 with a musical entitled Piggy. John Golden leased and renamed the theatre for himself from 1932 to 1937, when the Shubert Organization assumed ownership and leased the theater to CBS Radio until 1940, when it was restored to its original use and name. On May 9, 2005, it was renamed for longtime Shubert Organization president Bernard B. Jacobs. Source

O Teatro dos Grandes Atores, foi inaugurado em 1995, e é formado por duas salas, a Azul e a Vermelha, cada uma com 396 lugares. A sala Azul teve como primeiro espetáculo Apareceu a Margarida, estrelado por Marília Pêra. A sala vermelha iniciou sua programação com A Era do Rádio, dirigida e encenada por Sérgio Britto.
Em 1998, foi inaugurado o Teatro das Artes, situado no Shopping da Gávea. Sua estréia ocorreu com o texto "Arte", de Yasmina Reza, com elenco formado por Pedro Paulo Rangel, Paulo Goulart e Paulo Gorgulho. Sua estrutura comporta 457 lugares.

O Teatro Dulcina faz parte da história teatral do Rio de Janeiro e é uma referência obrigatória para a análise do processo de modernização da cena carioca no século XX. Até 1952, o Dulcina era conhecido pelo nome de Teatro Regina (1935 a 1952) - uma iniciativa do Sr. Vivaldi Leite Ribeiro, responsável também pela construção do Edifício Regina - prédio de 17 andares na Rua Alcindo Guanabara, na Cinelândia.

The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 236 West 45th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
Designed by architect Herbert J. Krapp to resemble the neighboring Shubert and Booth theaters designed by Henry B. Herts, the building was constructed by the Shubert brothers in 1917-1918, christened the Plymouth Theatre, and leased to producer Arthur Hopkins. He intended it to be a venue for legitimate plays starring notable actors like John and Lionel Barrymore. The premiere production was A Successful Calamity, a comedy with William Gillette and Estelle Winwood.
After Hopkins died in 1948, control of the theater returned to the Shuberts, who still own the property, which was designated a New York City landmark in 1987. The 1,080-seat house was renamed for Gerald Schoenfeld, chairman of the Shubert Organization, in 2005. Source

The Barrymore Theatre (originally The Eastwood) was built in 1929 as the third movie theater erected in Madison, Wisconsin. It sustained itself as a neighborhood movie theater until the late 70's. The theater was briefly vacant in the early 80's and was renovated into a live events theatre in 1987. That is when it took up it's present name, and began the transformation into what it is today. The St. James Theatre is located at 246 W. 44th St. Broadway, New York City, New York. It was built by Abraham L. Erlanger, theatrical producer and a founding member of the Theatrical Syndicate, on the site of the original Sardi's restaurant. It opened in 1927 as The Erlanger. Upon Erlanger's death in 1930, control of the venue was taken over by the Astor family, who owned the land on which the theatre stood. The Astors renamed it the St. James Theatre.
The theatre was purchased by the Shuberts in the late 1930s. They were forced to sell it to the William L. McKnight in 1957 following the loss of an antitrust case. McKnight renovated the St. James and reopened it in 1958. In 1970, McKnight then transferred the theatre to his daughter Virginia and her husband James H. Binger, who had formed the Jujamcyn Amusement Corporation. Source

The Belasco Theatre is a legitmate Broadway theatre located at 111 West 44th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
Designed by architect George Keister for impresario David Belasco, the interior featured Tiffany lighting and ceiling panels, rich woodwork and expansive murals, and a ten-room duplex penthouse apartment that Belasco utilized as combination living quarters/office space.
Technically it was outfitted with the most advanced stagecraft tools available, including extensive lighting rigs, a hydraulics system, and vast wing and fly space.
It opened as the Stuyvesant Theatre on October 16, 1907 with the musical A Grand Army Man with Antoinette Perry. Three years later Belasco attached his own name to the venue. After his death in 1931, it was leased first by actress Katharine Cornell and then playwright Elmer Rice. The Shuberts bought it in 1949 and leased it to NBC for three years before returning it to legitimate use.
This theater is the subject of an urban legend that David Belasco's ghost haunts the theater every night. Some performers in the shows that played there have even claimed to have spotted him or other ghosts during performances. Source

The Palace Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 1564 Broadway in midtown-Manhattan.
Designed by architects Kirchoff & Rose, the theatre, built by California vaudeville entrepreneur and Broadway impresario Martin Beck, experienced a number of problems before it opened. E. F. Albee, one of the main executives for B. F. Keith and his powerful vaudeville circuit, demanded that Beck turn over three-quarters of the stock in the theatre in order to use acts from the Keith circuit. In addition, Oscar Hammerstein was the only person who could offer Keith acts in that section of Broadway, so Beck paid him off with $225,000. The theatre finally opened on March 24, 1913 with headliner Ed Wynn. To "play the Palace" meant that an entertainer had reached the pinnacle of his career, and it became a popular venue with performers like Sarah Bernhardt, Eddie Cantor, Bob Hope, Fanny Brice, Sophie Tucker, George Jessel, and Jack Benny. O antigo prédio do Supremo Tribunal Federal foi reaberto no dia 4 de abril de 2001 como Centro Cultural Justiça Federal. O processo de restauração respeitou as características históricas da construção, conforme orientação do IPHAN. O patrocínio foi da Caixa Econômica Federal e a coordenação do restauro esteve a cargo do Instituto Herbert Levy, com apoio do Tribunal Regional Federal da 2ª Região. A obra dotou o edifício de uma vasta e moderna infra-estrutura predial em termos de refrigeração, instalações elétricas, telefonia, sistema hidráulico etc. Atualmente, o CCJF dispõe de 14 amplas salas de exposições, teatro, biblioteca, lojinha e cafeteria. Há ainda uma sala destinada à instalação de um cinema.

O Teatro Municipal João Caetano foi reinaugurado em 1995, após uma profunda restauração. O projeto de recuperação encarou um grande desafio que era respeitar os aspectos históricos e ao mesmo tempo dotá-lo de modernidade. Ao longo de sua história, o teatro sofreu sucessivas obras de reformas que foram alterando a forma original do prédio, adaptando espaços e desfigurando seus seus núcleos históricos, dando origem a um prédio com características de diferentes épocas. No entanto, a fachada manteve as linhas arquitetônicas neoclássicas da reforma de 1888 e 1889.

O Teatro Poeira, de propriedade das atrizes Marieta Severo e Andréa Beltrão, pretende ocupar no pequeno e aconchegante espaço, não só preencher a lacuna deixada, desde o fechamento no início dos anos 70, do saudoso Poeira de Ipanema, mas, cumprir seu destino de abrir uma porta para o mundo incluindo todos os personagens, todos os lugares, todas as idéias e todos os sentimentos. One of the largest and most acclaimed professional theatre companies in the metro Washington, DC area, Round House Theatre is led by Producing Artistic Director Blake Robison, who joined the company in June 2005. Based in Montgomery County, Maryland, Round House Theatre produces nearly 200 theatrical performances each season at its 400-seat Bethesda theatre and 150-seat black box theatre in Silver Spring. The company operates an education center in Silver Spring and annually reaches over 40,000 patrons there and across the region with strong educational programs.

Playing in January 2013: The Phantom Of The Opera. Winner of 7 1988 Tony Awards including Best Musical, The Phantom of the Opera is based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. It tells the story of the hideously deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, exercising a reign of terror over its occupants. The phantom falls in love with the young Soprano devoting himself to creating a new star for the Opera by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all the skills at his disposal.
The Majestic Theatre is a Broadway theatre located at 245 West 44th Street in midtown Manhattan.
An earlier theatre with the same name had been located at 5 Columbus Circle, the present site of the Time-Warner building. Designed in 1903 by John Duncan, the architect of Grant's Tomb, the theatre hosted original musicals, including The Wizard of Oz and Babes in Toyland, and briefly served as a studio for NBC. It was renamed the Park Theatre in 1911 and demolished in 1954. Source
