Roanoke Vineyards is owned by long-time Long Island Vinyardist Richard Pisacano and his wife Soraya. For over ten years, he has been the Vineyard Manager at Wölffer Estates. Richard's partner-in-wine is Roman Roth, the winemaker behind Wölffer's fine wines, as well as his own prestigious Grapes of Roth.

"Whiskey Ed" Houdek first opened the doors to Ye Olde Spirit Shoppe in 1965. Back then he'd deliver mail for the Bayport Post Office during the day and at night he'd work selling fine liquors and wine. In 1972 Ed doubled the size of the store making it so long and narrow that you could fit four lanes of bowling within the store's walls.
