The Manhattan Mall, one of the few traditional indoor malls in New York City, is located at 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue. There are entrances to the 34th Street-Herald Square subway station and the 33rd Street PATH station on the second basement level.
The mall is located in the high-rise building formerly used by the Gimbels flagship store, which closed in 1986. On April 18, 2007, JCPenney announced that it would open a 150,000 square foot store at the mall, its first in Manhattan. The site currently occupied by Oak Ridge City Center was selected by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to establish a permanent shopping center in the years following World War II. In 1951 the AEC selected a company headed by Guilford Glazer to build the new shopping center. A shortage of steel resulting from the Korean War delayed construction, but the Downtown Shopping Center opened in 1955. This shopping area was considered a replacement for the former "townsite" area around Jackson Square.
In the late 1980s Crown American purchased the property and converted it to an indoor mall by enclosing the walkways around the stores and significantly expanding the floor area. Source

The Mall at Lawson Heights is a shopping centre located at the junction of Warman Road and Primrose Drive in north Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Monmouth Mall, New Jersey's fifth largest shopping center, is 1.5 million square feet. The center first opened as a 500,000 square foot open-air center on March 1, 1960. In 1975, the mall was enclosed and expanded to it's current size. The mall underwent major renovations in 1987 and again in 1996. During the 1996 renovation, Monmouth Mall added a 700-seat food court and the 15-screen Loews Theatre. Monmouth Mall is conveniently located in Central New Jersey just a few miles from the "Jersey Shore." The shopping center is just off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 105 and can also be accessed via Routes 18, 35 and 36.

Bayshore Community Foundation announced the continuation of the Change for Charity meter program where proceeds generated through parking meter revenue are donated to area non-profit organizations. The Palisades Center, often referred to as the Palisades Mall, in West Nyack, New York is the twelfth largest Shopping Mall in the United States, and the second largest in the Tri State Area.
The mall has four levels, each of which is approximately the shape of a rectangle. Its anchor stores include Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, Macy's, Home Depot, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Staples, Best Buy, and Target. BJ's and Home Depot are not accessible from the mall itself. BJ's is on the bottom level, with Home Depot built on top of it and Target on top of that. Target is on the 4th level of the mall but is not exactly at the same level and there are a few steps down leading into the store. Source

Broadway Mall (formerly Mid-Island Plaza) debuted in October, 1956, on the site of a former boys' orphanage and a dairy and vegetable farm operated by the Catholic Church. Richard and Anne Evers, who have lived in Hicksville for 50 years, remember the anticipation of Mid-Island's grand opening. "Shopping as we understood it would never be the same again," said Richard Evers, village historian and a retired teacher.
